Othellos Cafe Bar in Stockport

Not changed 1 bit this place for decades. Still the same budget, low quality food at sky high prices. Warm milkshake for £2.45 and dry, tough, old chicken with small bones. The owner is happy to take peoples money for rubbish. Its not even a greasy spoon is a level below that. Absolute terrible. The owner is as miserable as sin. SPEAK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS when your taking their money

Very grubby- pepper shaker was sticky and dirty, latte glasses were filthy, plates had residue on them. My potato was green, was slimy underneath and had a funny taste, and the salad that came with it was brown and slimy as well. The hot beef sandwich had a single, wafer thin (almost see through) piece of beef on it. We ate what we could, as we refused to be ripped off paying £20+ for awful food. Also zero atmosphere and very unwelcoming.Will never visit again.

Google Maps says it is open now at 8:00 on a Saturday, but it is closed. Quite annoying when you’re walking around in the wind and rain looking for a drink.

Love this place, been going here for breakfast for so many years and the atmosphere is always so calm and the food is absolutely delicious. I always recognise the owner who is always so lovely and pleasant and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great meal.

Nice clean cafe with a great selection of dishes all made to order. My family and I have been lots of times. Reasonably priced good value.

Always a nice treat for us to go, some times we travel to Stockport just for their cooked breakfast. A Othello's breakfast for me and a English breakfast for Tracey.

Wow. Went in today for a breakfast and the food was absolutely appalling... Freezing cold,the walls moulded,dirty place and dirty dishes,cutlery and cups. No words to describe how bad the food actually tasted,left as same as hungry as we walked in. Never mind that as we was walking out nobody actually bothered to ask if everything was alright,pure ignorance.The place needs a proper deep cleaning,refurbishing and an upgrade on the food quality for the prices they are asking.Still feeling sick after trying to eat only the toast and beans...Never going back that's for sure!!!!Avoid at any cost if you care about your own health.

Friendly staff omelette was beautiful only problem is my salad had brown bits on it it should be fresh everyday or thrown once brown bits on and if your going to do cheese toasties at least use a toastie machine and real cheese not pizza mix/cheese string cheese and it was cheese on toast not a toastie misleading menu quality should be up most importance. Place nice inside another issue is If serving food hair nets and hats should be worn puts people off!

Asked for a vegetarian breakfast and it was cooked on a dirty gridle. Also asked for a cup of tea this came and was in a dirty cup asked for the cup to be changed and recieved another dirty cup which was worse than the first cup. Cutlery wss filthy. You also have to collect your food drinks,pepper,salt and sauces before you can sit and eat your food. I myself work in a cafe and dont know how this business is still open.

Went in today and wow....no decor, freezing cold, no smiles, dirty floors that's not just from today as it was ground in, very dirty tables, had to get up and collect own food even though 3 staff doing nothing? And then to see a big tip box on there counter???
