Papa John's Pizza in Stockport

I tried this place when it first opened and the service was shocking. I said I wouldn't try it again.Tonight probably 5 or more years later I decided to give it a go again.So true to form the service was terrible and they won't get a 3rd try!The guy behind the counter was arguing with me about giving me the discount that is clearly shown on the menu.Then after telling me to come back after a set amount of time, I got there and had to wait the same amount of time again!Save your self the headache and disappointment and go to dominos.

Perfect for pizza. Recent papadias are good.

Waited a long time for delivery , rang up to enquire how long it would be and got told it was the drivers fault and then got hung on . Won’t be ordering again ,

Excellent quick service, very delicious seafood pizza. The gentleman who served me was extremely helpful and very skilled, as I watched him make the pizza, you can sense that he is a veteran. Thanks

I will never buy anything from Pappa John's again. Placed an order at 7:15. It said 20to30mins. Gets to 8:40, nothing, ring the shop, he says he's busy and nothing he can do, no apologies, not helpful at all, asked his name, he said "John Pappa" and put the phone down. We spent over £100 and it arrived at 10pm. Cold, soggy horrible horrible disgusting pile of dough and ketchup sauce.....

Good certainly when you collect. I think most of the bad reviews pertain to delivery, which wasn't the easiest of tasks even pre-COVID but certainly whose schedules aren't always easy to stick to now that more people are eating in for the foreseeable.

I do not know why I still order from this place, often get undercooked pizza, forgotten items, burned desserts, if you order during the afternoon this place is amazing but soon as the sun sets I'd avoid. Honestly I'm fed up of constant disappointment.. these mistakes could be rectified with a little care.

Food arrived 20 minutes after the app said it had arrived. It was stone cold by the time we received it. Took 1hr 15 and loads of stuff missing. 2nd time in a row we have had stuff missing. Gave it a further chance thinking last time may have been a one off. This has ensured that they have had the last of my money.

I just got a delivery from papa John's for the first time even. I'm all about Dominos have been for ever. Then I got brave and tried papa John's. I'm physically upset at how this pizza was ever franchisable. Dry and tasteless. Huge crusts and didnt even feel the need to put it in the fridge for tomorrow . Straight in the garden for the birds . One star is too much

Don’t get me wrong food tasted ok but this has got to be some sort of joke half and half pizza? 8 slices of one and 4 of the other?? Please explain this as I am lost for words
