Photis Chippy in Stockport

New Owners, now call "The Battered Cod". We were staying overnight at Mcr Airport and wanted a fish supper. Found this Chippy on line and confirmed by a phone call that they are within 5 minute walking distance of Gatley Rail Station. Great Scottish cod: fish, chips & mushy peas. Friendly staff. No reservation in awarding 5 stars!!!

This is a great place to go for tasty fish and chips. The prices are not the lowest but good value for the money. Remember cash only!

Always great food and good to see them moving away from plastic bags and packaging and replacing with paper and card.

Cold chips and the fish is not so great

Lovely fish and chips. We have had different meals from here and all really good. The chips are to die for.

Just had 2 portions of chips 1 meat and potato pie and curry sauce the only thing edible was the curry sauce, chips were all bits warmed up from the weekend and the pie was no better ,do not go here for lunch on a Monday unless warmed up chips and pie is your thing, just put your money in the bin as that is where your meal will end up.
