We’ve always loved coming to this restaurant- the food is amazing and the service very good. However we dined here for my husband’s birthday recently and we were a bit disappointed 😔. It seems that Bramhall is trying to be Alderley Edge. All for atmosphere and music but the stationed DJ is a bit much. Music was so loud that we were shouting at each other to be heard. As were many diners around us. Leary drunks at the bar also very loud and to be honest, when you’re spending £140+ It’s not really expected. It’s a restaurant not a club. Evening dining isn’t what it was sadly. Sorry guys.

Great atmosphere, really buzzing and fab decor. We all enjoyed our meals but my salmon pasta was especially good. Definitely recommend this place.

Just dined at this restaurant with my wifeThe starter King prawn was okayThe main course of château briand which is supposed to be tenderloin cut of beef and the emphasis is tender was chewy.Even though the manager offered to change, we declined and I paid full bill.Definitely won't go back

Never disappoints. Attended with family and the service was good. The food was lovely and the cheesecake dessert was probably the best I've eaten.

A Welcome ReturnFirst of all, apologies for the slight lateness of this review (couple of weeks). I had to wait (and wait) for one on my dining companions to remember what they had eaten, annoying as both are almost ‘regulars’ at this branch. That now said – on with the review. There was a slight delay in sitting, this being due entirely to me as I requested a change of table (personal reasons). My two Lady companions didn’t complain as they raided the bar yet again. As soon as the table was ready one of the female staff sought us out, and came over to say the table is now ready - nice touch as we were deeply engrossed in conversation with some other patrons.Drinks:(at the bar – Prosecco and Merlot)Chardonnay, Merlot, Pino NeroStarters:Pane All’Aglio – Mozzarello & smoked cheesePane All’Aglio – Tomato & basilMinistrone Classico – Vel cavola & toasted ciabattaMain:Chateaubriand & extra side of frittesRavioli Zucca with roasted butternut squash, amoretti & hazelnut. My two Lady diners (Christine & Julie) were a tad surprised at some of the previous reviews regarding the conduct of the staff. Yes, there is always jovial banter (and the odd internal kitchen staff to staff ‘grrrr’) here, it’s not the Kensington Lodge with its silver service. Thankfully it’s nicely relaxed whilst retaining a excellent service. I personally have only been here twice before – a while ago (September 2016 and June ? 2018), and on both occasions the service and the staff were to be commended. The Chateaubriand was advertised correctly and serves two, though the ‘added touches’ were on short measure and I requested the tomatoes to be replaced as they were badly ‘caught’ on one side. Not a problem for any of the staff as they took the servers away and within 90 seconds (no, I did not time them, they were too efficient and quick for that) the server was returned – and with a couple more extra slices on tomatoes. My ‘sharer’ ordered the extra frittes after noticing the smaller than usual(?) amount that came with the CB.On a personal note, on my next visit, I am going to try the Minestrone Classico as a starter (I was allowed to sample a spoonful ) Oh yesssssss…. that tasted really good. All in all, a very good meal (those the prices are still a little on the high side) and a pleasant evening. Thank you.Love to make this a regular venue (as it is the Ladies). Time will tell as they say.
