Brilliant coffee shopLovely selection of cakes and sandwiches everything was well presented and tasted greatStaff are so lovely especially the manager who went out of her way to help us, nothing is too much trouble, they made a chocolate milk for my son especially so he wasn’t disappointed.Even at half term there was plenty of seating upstairsWill 100% visit again

A lovely building , it has been my regular for a while mainly due to the dearth of similar establishments in the urban wasteland that is Stockport . A regular feature I note is the inability to clear and clean tables promptly especially upstairs . Of course staff are too busy serving downstairs . On recent visit I felt that the prices were up and the quality/service down. It’s off my list for now …

This is a lovely place to get coffee. They offer a great selection of cakes too. They also offer savory food as well. They have 'okay' seating options. The tables are a bit small. The prices are normal for a coffee. The atmosphere is great. A nice and relaxing place to have a coffee and chill.

Went in for a drink today. No clean tables downstairs so moved a tray from an unoccupied table over to the counter to be abruptly told by the man serving to leave it on the table otherwise they had to keep wiping the counter. Didn't see anybody clean any tables while I was there maybe if they had customers wouldn't have to before sitting down.

A very disappointing visit, we had been recommended this coffee shop by various people so admittedly did have quite high expectations. The coffee was quite bland with no real character to make it stand out, this does mean it didn't have any major negatives but was just not a interesting cup of coffee. The skill of the barista was good, they did scorch the milk slightly making the drink thinner than it should have been but the latte art was good. The cake....omg...the cake, it was dreadful. The vegan banana loaf was the worst cake we have tasted in a long time, the overriding flavour was uncooked flour, it had a poor consistency leaving a very unpleasant mouth feel.We also sat upstairs, the building the shop is located in is awesome, just a shame that they haven't removed the massive cobwebs hanging over customers heads.Wont be rushing back.

Rhode Island Coffee Is A Beautiful Cafe, Staff Are All So Polite & Very Helpful. Coffees And Hot Chocolate Are Lovely. 2nd Time Me And My Partner Have Been And We Will Be Going Again In The Future.

Have a nice selection of cakes, pastries and drinks to choose from. Unfortunately the hot drinks are not always hot especially the hot chocolate!! Only 1 toilet in the cafe which does let it down slightly. Overall though a lovely cafe!! 👍

I don't like wasting money on food I could have prepared myself, but it was quicker and cheaper than pub grub so we popped in. Beautiful building with ornate balcony, sandwiches premade and warmed up to order, very tasty, clean toilets! Very busy, small but well spaced out. Only downer was one staff member came in off a break and started to work having not washed his hands first.

The cafe provides a pleasant environment and the cakes on offer are lovely. However, I've noticed that it's hit and miss when it comes to being given a clean cup. The staff are usually friendly and welcoming, although this isn't always the case. Prices are on the higher side.Overall, it's one of the better cafés in the town centre but I would recommend trying the nearby Hillgate Cakery.
