Top staff, Jason is a great host. Bryony makes awesome macaroons. Great selection of quality beer and wine.....and Pipers Chorizo crisps. Great spot

Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff and lovely food.

The fry up here is absolutely first class! Quite possibly the best English breakfast I've ever had (and I've had many!), from the big bubble-like runny eggs and thickly cut black pudding. I wish I knew how to get/make bacon like that at home! Looking forward to taking my kids, for my 2nd visit tomorrow! 🤤

Lovely bar - live music on a Saturday when we went which was a great surpriseFriendly staff and excellent gin selection

·

Nice staff and food but couldn't accommodate us on 2nd visit as understaffed, despite being half full

·

Lovely food, we had the house burger with skinny fries and it was superb! The staff were very friendly and attentive.

I stopped at the Cafe with a group of my cycling buddies There's a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. We visited on a Saturday and booked a table ahead of arriving. It was busy so there was a bit of a wait for food and drinks - we didn't mind as it definitely worth it - great coffee and lovely breakfast 😀 Goodies are also available to take away 🍪 A visit is recommended.

Saw this place from outside and thought it looked great so decided to go for lunch there with a friend.Ordered a pretty simple sandwich and burger and waited 1.5 hours for it to arrive. Food sat under heat lamp for ages, we even joked about going to get it ourselves.Nobody came back in that time to ask if we wanted another drink.Asked if we wanted any sauces and asked for 2x mayo and some salt and vinegar. Waitress returned with 1x ketchup, 1x mayo, vinegar and pepper so had to ask for more mayo.Nobody came back to ask how our food was, if we wanted more drinks or any pudding, all the staff stood at the bar chatting.Eventually went to the bar to ask for the bill.Someone then came over with a second burger and sandwich and I advised we had already eaten ours.Real shame, could be a great place if they just get some waitresses that are remotely attentive.

Seemed very overstaffed tho all staff were lovely and friendly. I had a sausage barm and a cuppa. It was ok but had to ask for sugar which didn't come with my cuppa. Reasonably priced. The sausage barm was ok but I have had nicer sausages from other cafes
