Sadagar Restaurant in Stockport

Family meal. Fantastic time. The waiters were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. An the food was delicious.

Ordered a take away for the first time in ages and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. The food was poor and the sauce was watery and way too sweet, the meat was precooked and rubbery. I ordered a Korma and a Tikka. Sorry but I don't want to change it again.

Called in last Saturday around 930. We was absolutely starving as had been on a long journey. Greeted fantastically by the manager and was served nicely and professionally by the staff. Food arrived in good time and certainly didn’t disappoint and was very tasty with a couple of extra sauces served on the house. Very clean seating area and the manager popping over and casually chatting was very welcome. We will call again

Placed an order online. 35mins late. We've eaten in the restaurant many times and been happy but our delivery was disgusting! Orders chicken bhuna tasted nothing like and another curry.We won't be returning.

Been eating and having takeaways for years must say we was so disappointed in the food chicken tikka massala was like dish water not the normal thick and creamy onion bajhi was burnt and dry think you need to change you're chef won't be buying or visiting you again till you do and need to learn you're staff to add up overcharged by 4 pounds

Very good, top quality food served fresh. Extremely good experience and very friendly, helpful and know knowledgeable staff. Place was very clean and tidy and ample parking space outside.

6 of us booked a table. Food was so disappointing. We asked for a selection of starters, we got chicken nuggets, onion bhajis, tandoori chicken and sheek kebabs -Tasteless.We ordered a selection of mains plus one vegan. Vegan had cheese and butter. Was sent back twice.Now of the food ordered was correct. Basically the staff didn’t listen to anything. Assumption we would just make do which was extremely disappointing.Not vegan friendly, they clearly don’t know the difference between vegetarian and vegan!Expensive for such a disappointing meal. Will not be returning

This place should be a 3.5 but can't as only full stars. Above average restaurant with below average prices. In the village of Gatley it has stiff competition but give it a go. Staff are so friendly you feel like a regular each visit, I've been 3 times only, will go again I'm certain.Portion sizes are more than enough and their lamb dishes are excellent. So close to a 4 but I score in honesty and above a 3 in my eyes is always worth a try!

Brilliant restaurant. We have been going for years. The staff are brilliant and the food is great. The prices have crept up recently but its still definitely worth a visit

Excellent looking restaurant with a relaxed and comfortable vibe, staff we're really pleasant.Food was excellent, the nicest Indian food I've eaten in a long while, probably won't go anywhere else now going forward.Portions were a good size, maybe big enough to share if you weren't too hungry, but not too big that you felt over-stuffed.
