Sainsbury's in Stockport

Could not be faulted. Every item cooked to perfection. Pleasent surroundings. And extremely quick service.

Oh dear what has happened. Order taking is woefully slow. One server takes orders and also makes coffee and heats snacks. Actually watched the microwave do the heating, then watches the coffee pour. No multi tasking here. Occasionally a helper is brought on to help with hot drinks but they also clear tables. The food is actually quite good when you get it but you could wait 20 minutes in the queue for a coffee or a sandwich.

Not a great experience! The lady on the till was rude and unhelpful though other staff were helpful and working hard. The food was not great very hot dishes but food was half cold. Tasted like a cheap microwave meal! Kids chicken nuggets meal had 3 small nuggets a few chips and some over cooked peas! Really not worth the price!

Pleastly surprised with how nice the food was, inconsistent portions though, both my mum and I had fish and chips, one fish was huge and crispy with lots of chips while the other was quite small and not well battered with just a handful of chips, was still filling but looked dissapointing in comparison. Server advised a half hour wait for food but it wasn't that long. Much more enjoyable than Asda or Morrissons cafe!

Food is average, the toasted tea cakes are amazing but the staff will refuse to tell you where to buy them from,and no it's not Sainsburys,on today's visit I waited 20 minutes for a pot of tea and a tea cake, only two customers there.Prices are average,hand hygiene by staff needs addressing handling food and money with no washing.

Was a nice cafe, good service. Children's meal were well priced and sized. Just a shame they couldn't use real mashed potato. My daughter wasn't impressed with instant mash.

It took 15 minutes to get served at the checkout even though there were half a dozen staff behind the counter. They served the tea quickly but because it took so long to pay for it, it was cold and tasted awful. A real disappointment.

This was very poor. There was no food left apart from sandwiches but no sign until we got to the sales point. The only available hot food was chips. However as we left we saw customers getting hot food. The staff didn't appear organised at all.

Only had a coffee but had to wait 20mins to be served. Table full of crumbs from previous customer. Edges of table felt sticky needs a good cleaning

Very modern looking cafe, very comfortable seating. Good selection from actual meals to snacks. Some of the other dishes looked amazing.You can use the salad bar too, or just get a coffee. Tonnes of parking too.
