Sol's Take Away in Stockport

Had fish and chips for 2 from here last night. I have never in my life seen a fish from a takeaway as big! The food was piping hot, tasty and great value for money. The portions were so huge that i messaged my neighbour and she brought a plate over and left with it piled high too. Would definitely recommend.

Very average food, donner was dry, wings were very dry and the ribs tasted a day old which were re-heated and doused in sauce. Cost around £17 - not the best chippy in town.

Food amazing as always! Fresh tasty chicken in the kebabs we had, best Donner meat i've ever had and always hot chunky chipshop chips!

The fish and chips was recommended to me, all I can say is the person who recommended this chippy to me must have low standards, at nearly £9 for fish chips and a side was not value for money

I have been going to Sol’s for as long as I can remember and all I can say this is my go to take away. the food is always amazing and you are always warmly welcomed by the staff, my fav food especially is the mixed donner and piri chicken on a garlic naan lots of chilli sauce!! Yum yum

Excellent service and excellent food. I recommend ordering the garlic cheese… you will not be disappointed!

Just a real shame they have just changed the cheese on the pizzas, ate here for over 20 years. Tried twice lately and defo a change in the cheese which we can’t stomach. So sad

Thee worst chicken kebab I’ve ever had the misfortune of being served. 4 small tasteless bite size pieces of chicken, couldn’t taste anything but lettuce & the chilli sauce tasted like tomato purée! Would highly recommend you don’t bother.

Just popped in for a small portion of chips and sausage £3.60. excellent. Good value for money. Will definitely go again
