Southern Fried Chicken in Stockport

Without a shadow of a doubt the worst fried chicken the world has ever seen! Definitely warmed and refried, I'd say 3 times! Hard as a rock, dry as a bone and just the worst taste. Vile little hovel!

The hot wings weren't even spicy . neither was the burger. the wings where more deep fry than chicken. the peri chips where ok. this place used to be amazing but has gone down hill a bit over the last year or so. sort it out because there is a lot of choice now

I love their wings and that's the reason why I keep going back. Sometimes they give you wings from day before or refried and they are not good at all. That is the reason why I can't give 5 stars. Their fries are delicious too.

Chicken is delicious, reasonably priced and filling. Chips are delicious and they put american salt on which is always welcome in takeaway food.

Couldn’t be more disappointed after reading all the amazing reviews. Undercooked cold fries with no seasoning served with wings that tasted weird and full of sugar. The burger had so much mayo couldn’t taste anything else. I’ve had some bad takeaways in the past but this is the first time I’ve been unable to eat it. Had to throw it all away and go supermarket.

You stare into the deep fryer - its oil bubbling, inviting you, whispering towards you, asking you to order a crispy fried chicken sandwich to complete this creation, this new wonder of the world.The chicken artist smiles as he performs this dance of deliciousness, perhaps unaware he is serving one of God’s purest creations. Perhaps he is God. You lift your eyes from admiring and interpreting the artistic endeavour behind the floor tiling and meet gazes with Him briefly. In that split second everything becomes clear - your body remains at a chicken shop on the A6 but your spirit is standing alongside Him at the entrance to Heaven. For a moment, you will understand the meaning behind our existence.-Nah I’m kidding, but it’s pretty decent fried chicken and it’s cheap as chips. Hot wings are really good. Plus sometimes they give you extra fries. 5/5.
