Lovely friendly pub, staff were pleasant. Let me and my family have a table in a quiet space as my little boy has autism. 2 carvery’s later and me and my parter happily stuffed! 10/10 for the food and pudding. Definitely be returning. Probably one of the best places for a Carvery around this area 😊

Fantastically friendly, customer service conscious team. Service was second to none, food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming.Gutted this is not our local and we were visiting on Holiday! However, we visited 3 times during our stay... For drinks, for dinner and for lunch... The service was brilliant everytime!

The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is the best I've had in a long time. Fast service too, no waiting around for ages. I can't recommend it enough.

Had been 50 Years since I last visited the Spread Eagle, so I thought it was time to give it another visit. Called in for lunch, what a great decision I made. Good selection of Cask Ale and extensive menu plus full carvery. I selected the Fish Pie, my Wife opting for the full rack of ribs. Very tasty Sweet menu. You would have to go a long way to find a friendlier and more efficient Staff. The Spread Eagle is an excellent place to visit, and I won't wait another 50 Years until I visit again.

Went there for the carvery at lunch time. Parking no problems for all people. Ground floor, and all entrances OK for all people. The service was fast and friendly. Selection of 3 meats for carvery plenty of vegetables available. No waiting. The meal was hot and very good. Pigs in blanket were extra 2 to 3 pounds. The sausages were large. Plenty of alcohol available as was tea and coffees. Prices competitive.

Came for a midweek carvery. Nice relaxed atmosphere, nice lighting, music, and spaced tables, fire was on. We spent longer time here than planned and will definitely return. Friendly staff too.

All staff very friendly, good atmosphere!! Plenty choices meats vegetarian vegetables potatoes etc!! Chefs good attitudes!!But unfortunately manager ( man with glasses Beard seemed not very friendly) look cold welcoming!!We will come again !!Thanks

This place deserves the full 5 stars. Absolutely gorgeous pub. The staff were superb. Food was ready quickly even though they said there may be a short wait. I had the Carvery and it was by far an away the best I've ever had! The meats were delicious and veg cooked to perfection.So impressed with this place I'll be back again very soon.Thank you to all the Staff at the Spread Eagle for a very pleasurable experience!

A nice pub with lots of tables for indoor dining. Good atmosphere in the pub and great service by the staff. Meals where good.
