Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and a beautiful outdoor seating area. My table had some specific dietary requests and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely visit again!

Mothers day meal 2022.Although selecting a meal a week in advance can be frustrating. It did relieve the ooohing and arghing at the table and speed things up, If only we could remember who order what.Lovely service with humour added which is nice when you like humour.... If your a misery then maybe not the place for you.Beautiful building, been many times over the years and for a green king pub actually well maintained (Anyone who's been to a Green King pub in London would not believe its the same company!)Food was amazing (always is) service was lovely... And ability to put up with grumpy old folks was brilliant (Dad!).

Been a few times, its great for families and the staff brilliant.BUT we drove there for the first time....if you do then speak to a member of staff where the screen is to register your car. Otherwise it is an expensive trip.To the owners how about making the signage a bit more obvious when its dark or have the registration inside the pub not easily obscured by people waiting to be served.

Absolutely fabulous. Staff were professional, caring, and attentive. Food was to die for. It was my birthday meal couldnt have gone any better. We will be back.

We had a lovely meal at the Ashlea. The food was absolutely delicious and the menu is varied enough to cater for all your cravings, even fussy seven year olds 😁 Staff were great...friendly, polite and efficient. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks a million!

Short measures on ales and broken toilet seats in the ladies for several months. Simply not good enough

Called in for an impromptu 'tea' evening meal. Chicken burger and chips for me but next time would probably have without the bun (naked burger) as too much for me, smallish appetite. Hubby had the beef not so good, but clear explanation of the cut of meat and excellent customer service from our server Amy would not deter us from returning again. The young man who showed us to our table and took our order, didn't get his name was also great.

Love this place.nice n warm comfortable and quiet. Plenty of choices on the menu.staff very attentive. We had Emma but all the staff were friendly and helpful . large carpark to the rear. And disability access to toilet

The star is for the young man who was serving us as he was very nice. The food on the other hand was poor, ‘triple cooked chips’ were not triple cooked at all, just standard pub chips. Lasagne had just been nuked in the microwave, making it go chewy. Chicken had a strange texture and was Luke warm at best. Staff being very loud chatting amongst themselves right behind us and one even burping very loud right behind us. Not much atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend.

A thoroughly pleasant dining experience! Myself, my fiancé and our dog visited recently, ordering a roast dinner each then a brownie dessert to share. The food was all well-cooked to perfection, full of flavour and very warming. The staff were delightful, atmosphere rustic and cozy... Our dog definitely appreciated her pigs-in-blankets! We don't live locally but, if we did, this wonderful pub would have gained three new and very happy regulars!
