The Barnhouse in Stockport

I have driven passed this place so any times and never actually took any notice until one day my dad wanted a Sunday roast to be delivered and finding a place wasn't that easy. Google found The Barnhouse which did him one of the best take-out sunday roast and even offered to deliver it to him. I collected his meal and got an instant good vibe about the place and so the following weekmy husband and I visited. Well, the food was absolutely amazing! A massive, all home made Sunday roast along with cauliflower cheese for a brilliant price, service was outstanding too. Tables were very close by but it wasn't overly busy so it wasn't an issue for us but there seems to be more space for better usage (but that won't stop me returning!). Brilliant place I'd definitely recommend.

Delicious food with a great choice of meats. All fresh & served quickly with great service. The building inside is stunning with all solid wood decor. And they could use some more lighting in the building as it can be quite dull. Will definitely return.

Food was nice although it was stated there was 5 meats including turkey, it was chicken, the atmosphere let the experience down, children out of control, and the scent of cannabis wafting through the restaurant really ruined the day , sorry won't be returning

Hi we've not been in for a while since November has the old cook returned ? We are looking for a place to have my sons 21st in July if there's any availability? Thanks

Amazing food quality and quantity. Sunday roast absolutely gorgeous.. I wanted a dessert but just couldn't fit it in... Was offered a take out of we wanted. We'll just return to try the starters and desert. Will be visiting many more times. Excellent, cozy and very friendly.

Couldn't recommend this place enough, please if you're looking for somewhere to go for a Sunday roast get to The Barnhouse. The food was lovely and hearty. The place itself has such a relaxing atmosphere. This was my first time and certainly won't be by last, thankyou to the warm and welcoming barn house staff, I'll be back!

Terrible food. All microwaved. They didn't bother putting the heating on so it was very cold inside. This place could be so much more as it has a great rustic decor but unfortunately they cannot be bothered spending any money on quality ingredients or a chef and it really shows. Such poor quality - I cannot stress this enough. Massive disappointment, would not recommend.

Lovely pub has a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food definitely be returning and really looking forward to the karaoke on Saturday next week 😁

Just had a lovely Sunday roast, couldn't fault it. Staff were really nice too will be going here again for sure. I'm off for a sleep now I'm stuffed😀
