Called at the last minute asking for a place to take dad for a Sunday Lunch. The landlady Karen was amazing. "Call down now and we've fit you in " Food was really Yummy and the beef cooked to perfection. Friendly warm atmosphere and a lovely pint of Robinson. What more could you ask for on a lovely spring afternoon. See you again soon.Thank you. Anthony

Went here for Sunday lunch with my family and what can I say it was so bad. food was freezing cold just terrible 👎And god the wait we had to wait 45 minutes for cold food. And the dessert £4.50 for microwave chocolate cake with a tiny tiny dollop of cheap ice cream, (size of small tangerine) for the price I would have expected better.Meat was tough as old boots I am just disgusted.COME ON Dog &. Partridge pick up your game.people have less and less money now so the least they deserve is a decent hot meal and not a 45 minute waitJust not on.

·

Nice inside, and food pretty decent too. unfortunately it took 45 minutes to wait for our mains, and they didn't start serving food until 5pm the afternoon we went.

Myself and my daughter decided to go to the Dog and Partridge for tea today for a treat. To start, they took a full hour to serve us. There was hardly anybody in so they weren’t busy.My meal looked like a poor starter! A chicken breast on a slice of lettuce, with a slice of tomato! Daughter’s was chicken nuggets with chips with a fried egg. Looked a bit better but should be for £10.95 for an 8 year old. I won’t be going again as I feel thoroughly ripped off. It’s a shame because I live fairly near by. We were given a free coke each for the wait, but nothing for the poor quality and quantity of food. Do not recommend the Dog & Partridge.

Just had a lovely family lunch here, I can highly recommend the fish and chips, although all the meals looked delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pub is cosy with a great beer garden that has a selection of climbing frames for the kids.Would definitely recommend a visit.
