The Flying Horse in Stockport

Tough steak with a Vimto Chutney, what was I thinking??? More to the point what was the chef thinking. Budget food at Budget prices. Please remind me never to ho to a hungry horse again.

We called here to pass an hour while waiting for a plane arrival. We were so impressed by the quality of food being brought out that we brought our family back for a meal once the plane had landed. We were not disappointed. Everything was delicious. And the friendliness and attentiveness if the staff was second to none. We will definitely be back.

The speed of the food delivery was exceptional but then 1 meal was still frozen on inside so clearly this is microwave food at best. It took that long to get a replacement that the rest of the family had long had desert. I had to ask if the meal was ever coming and by the time it did I had gone past being hungry. No offer of compensation either . This was poor in my opinion and won't see me coming back anytime soon

Nice spot, good food, cheap and cheerful. The interior and exterior are both really nice at this hungry horse. Food arrived ridiculously quickly and was hot and fresh. Bottle of wine at £5 (Wednesday special) was a bonus! And surprisingly nice.

Great Breakfast as usual. Even though there are still some items not available off the menu, still plenty to keep breakfast lovers happy. Attentive staff, polite and professional. Fair pricing too, all in all, a great place for breakfast.

Had a fabulous time here with friends... The staff were all polite!I was surprised to how fast the service was considering on how busy it was but the food was lovely presented and pipping hot when it arrived!Great atmosphere.. We all left feeling completely stuffed ready to walk our desserts off...Definitely recommend!!

Great service and good food. We went for an evening meal on Friday night for the mother in laws birthday, I had the American sizzler and thought the combination was a great idea with the has browns and burnt beans. Steak was cooked how asked and wasn`t to fatty, all positive.

Steak Monday mini mixed grill £5.50 very nice with beef dripping gravy 😋

Very disappointed and dishonest. Not recommended. Ordered meal deal £8.99 and 2 for £4 drinks, finally charge £17.04 and told me that because I want curry deal instead of any 2 meals. I pointed the any 2 meals menu and ordered. Why she still think that I want curry deal? Why I need to pay more but with exactly the same food? staff and manger are impolite and not helpful. Never go again.

Great food! Fabulous atmosphere. Very clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!
