We had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. Some of us had the roast dinner, others ordered off the menu. The kids allergies were catered for really well. We'd recommend the place for food.

Pleasant pub with nice home cooked food.

I’m new to this pub having recently moved nearby, friendly bar staff, good beers with a great atmosphere, I’m yet to try the food but got to say it looks lovely!!!

Very nice food, some lovely home cooked dishes but the portion sizes are not great. Prices would be fair if you had 30% more food. 4 pieces of calamari for £7/8 which is a bit of a joke.

Very good food. Friendly helpful staff. Prices reasonable. Drinks served promptly. It was quite busy as it was Saturday (early evening) but the food was also quite quick (we had drinks, mains and desserts and paid within 2 hours). We will return!

We were seated near to the kitchen door, hearing the constant pings of the microwave wasnt a good sign! we were to discover why.Ordered Steak, with 'full grill garnish'..It was a salad dressing?Had to order peas and onion rings seperately (didnt eat, batter tasted strange).Food arrived hotter than the sun, no warning, plate burnt my wifes finger! Our pudding arrived, scolding hot, first taste burnt my mouth and blistered my lip. I asked the waitress if it had been microwaved, she said yes but again no warning of the scolding food or red hot plate. Waited 10 minutes for it to be cool enough to eat.Cake and custard.. why microwave?Just pour warm custard over the cake?Hadnt been for a few years, thought we would try it again, very dissappointed.Beware the microwave!

Beautiful pub had a lovely curry and lemon sponge for dessert excellent. My niece had fish and chips with chocolate fudge cake, both our plates went back to the kitchen empty that says it all. I expect it gets very busy in the summer months, give it a try you won't be disappointed we weren't

My family and I had a Christmas lunch at the Foresters Arms recently and would definitely eat there again. We were made to feel welcome and shown to our table quickly. The service and quality of food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The menu choice was very varied and all of us enjoyed the food.

Absolutely loved it here, the food, the staff and even the punters were incredible! Paul could not do enough for you, and the same goes for his staff. I had the lamb Sunday dinner and honestly it was one of the best I've ever had. We paid £66 for 4 meals, 4 desserts and one round of drinks and it was worth every single penny. I could not recommend this place enough, and I look forward to my next visit which hopefully won't be too long! Thank you everyone at the foresters arms for looking after me and my family, and keep up the amazing work!
