Why are you showing as open when your are closed? I've driven 45 minutes to be here today. Thanks for nothing we won't be returning.

Elevated food, friendly and fine dining service, interesting menu and drinks all at an affordable price. What can I say against it?

Really nice food, we went for Sunday dinner, 2 courses £19.50 and we're pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes, especially the mains. Quite a small and intimate room, very nicely decorated as is the hotel throughout.

I don't often leave reviews but the Galloping Major most certainly deserves one! Myself and my daughter visited the Galloping Major for their tasting menu last week and it was fabulous! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were very knowledge on the food and wine and made the experience very relaxed and enjoyable and the food was delicious! I cant wait to go back and try the afternoon tea!

Excellent location in the park, feels like a real escape - stunning views and amazing food, beautifully presented and delicious. Loved the whole experience. Definitely recommended. Need to take friends for afternoon tea or a lighter option. Terrace looked amazing - I imagine its perfect in the warmer months.

A local gem! Stunning food at really good prices. Greal wine selection. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere with quirky surroundings. Highly recommend the resturaunt and hotel too.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, staff very attentive and friendly. We shall definitely be back again! This is something everyone should experience.
