Nice place good quiz free food after what could be better

Not eaten hear yet but good pint and friendly staff so what's not to like

This place is absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent and the portion sizes are big. If we are every this way again we will definitely be going back, the Mrs even said on our way back to our hotel that it would be worth booking an hotel here again just to go back.

The food in this pub is amazing we had the chicken skewer which came with salad pitta chips and garlic sauce my son had 8oz fillet steak on hot stone with chips and salad the portions are huge and such good quality meat the staff were amazing considering they had a big party in who were late! They were great with us defo reccomend this place to anyone and such good value 😀😀

Absolutely fabulous.Family group of 6 and we were all very impressed.Mine was a rib-eye steak which was server on a hot stone plate so I could cook myself to perfection. The steak was spot on.We would definitely recommend and would return again 👍.

Good beer, excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere.The Horseshoe was refurbished recently and they did a really good job on it. Fortunately, they didn't mess with the beer and this remains one of the best pints of Unicorn around. The food here is just fantastic. Massive portions and cooked perfectly. The lava-stone steaks you sort of cook yourself are fab. The half-roast chicken is the biggest pub meal I think I've ever had but then so is everything else. Sharing nachos are also well worth a try.The staff are all very friendly, as are the more colourful locals (you know who you are") . Whether you want a quite drink in the snug, join in the Thursday quiz, Play Your Cards Right or try the meat draw, you'll have a very pleasant evening.If I was to criticise anything, the occasional guest beer runs out far too quickly!
