The Little Fish & Chip Shop in Stockport

Nice sausage supper freshly cooked. Fairly short wait for food.

Unfortunately I've just wasted 9 quid on a childs portion of chips and a medium portion (at best not a large) oh with curries on top and a sausage. The bloke who sits outside Tesco who I presume is homeless would turn his nose up at that being a substantial meal, wouldn't feed a family of ants. Apart from that curry tasted nice, and that's about it. THANKS

Asked for salt, but for it not to be murdered. Way too salty, probably shortened my lifespan by eating it. I need a pint of water with it to be able to eat it. God knows how much salt you get if you don't even specify. Underneath the salt, food is ok!

Nice food, but very small portions. The fish I got this evening must have come out of somebody's fish tank and the large chips would be a regular size chips anywhere else.. Great to visit if you're on a diet.

I have rejoined since their mon-wed offer 2 fish 1 large chips 1 peas for £10. Not visited in a while but its just as excellent as previous. We tried gatley chippy and wythenshawe both decent but this one is still the best. Always excellent fish... Thinking of doing it twice a week with the offer on! Bravo guys xx

Wow. We've been meaning to go here for sometime and we were not disappointed! My wife and I ordered 2 fish and chips and they cooked the fish and chips in separate oil in a separate fryer due to dietary requirements. We walked back to our office which is 20 mins away and even then the food still tasted fresh. The soggy chips full of flavour and the crispy bits full of flavour and the fish was soft and delicious! Love businesses like this, highly recommended!

I have eaten here half a dozen times since moving to the area and it's been consistently delicious. Beautiful fish - I ask for mine lightly battered and well done - it's been on the money every time. Even the base is crispy! Lovely food and very nice staff as well.

After looking for the best fish and chips shop in south manchester for quite a while, I've finally hit the jackpot!This is by far the best fish and chips in Manchester. The fish is superb: crispy batter, light and delicious. The chips are cooked to perfection: fresh, crispy and thick chippy chips. No sogginess at all. The Mushy Peas are awesome.The staff are friendly. Amazing little chippy!

Called in here whilst passing through Cheadle, the place is small but while we were waiting for our fish to be cooked there was an endless flow of custom. We both had chips and shared a fish which was one of the best I have ever had and at 65 I have had a few. We are going back today and this time we will not be sharing anything. The chips by the way were tasty and plentiful and I had the Chinese curry which was also very moorish.

I AGREE with the rest of the reviews on here, THE BEST FISH&CHIPS in CHEADLE MANCHESTER!! Whenever we have ordered a cod with chips they never disappoint and the spicy curry sauce is delicious with peas!! I had to leave a review to spread the word about how good it is. Oh and it’s cash payment only there’s plenty of cash machines around the area 😁
