The Moor Top in Stockport

Plenty of space inside and outside. Went for an early afternoon drink, served quickly and nice quiet atmosphere. Would imagine this place gets filled easy on a sunny afternoon and would recommend anyone going for a quick drink!

Was looking for a place to eat with my kids. there was plenty of room, we got served by a nice lady my daughter was obsessed with her belly ring, it was a low rating because the prices was astronomical and I would’ve walked out because of it but my kids needed feeding, my son got the chicken and bacon sandwich and chips, he only eaten the chips as the bacon was very well done and he didn’t like the charcoal taste the portion sizes was massive even on the kids meal. It’s probably a good place for a drink but avoid the food

When the manager arranges a job interview with my daughter I expect him to turn up and not leave her stood there for over an hour waiting. No phone call, no apology nothing. A pub that’s rotten from the top down. Do the Heatons a favour and turn this shambles into apartments.

Nice food but barman trying it on serving pints when asking for halves. Too expensive. How does a half and cup of tea come to 8quid?

Great pub. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Good selection of alcohol and the food is good.Worth a day or night in here.

The Moor Top staff deserve a lot of credit. During an extremely busy service for the Stockport Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club this morning, nothing fazed them! The food was of a high standard. The place can't be faulted! Highly recommended!

Recently renovated and is now actually worth going inside! They were making all the new menu food photos while I was in last. That food looked really good! Beer is good and wine selection is also good.Breakfast is also good!

Having been recently refurbished to a very nice standard we decided to eat here, I have to say the food was far better than expected and very reasonably priced. The steak was cooked exceptional well having never had hanger steak before. This is a great welcome to how the pub was previously and I will definitely be visiting again. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars is due to staff not being particularly attentive, although this felt more because they were all new rather than a big criticism. There was a slight wait between courses and when asked for the card machine to pay the bill it didn't arrive, so we went to the front to pay, other than that it was a really nice e meal.
