Good drinking options and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere

Nice little independent (sister pub of the Chiverton Tap). With a good selection of beers (and not just hippy IPAs) as well as a wide range of gins. They have also refined the wine selection recently, which may make it more appealing for some. Looks small from the outside, but has a downstairs seating area and beer garden, so is more extensive than you'd think. Lovely quirky decor too (I love the table made out of a door! 😀)

A massive amount of effort has gone into making the Mounting Stone safe for all visitors and the staff are really on the ball, which makes the visit so pleasant. Lovely atmosphere as always, excellent beers - have we really been away for 15 months?

Excellent selection, lovely staff. It was a good level of fun on New year's Eve. They do take away as well... What's not to like
