First time dining here and it was very nice. Walked past plenty of times but never been in and today I'm glad I did. A fairly busy Saturday with lots of people in. We ordered food and it was cooked to an excellent standard. The steak and ale pie was lovely. Prices reasonable especially the 2 mains for £15.

Quiet afternoon drink in a traditional friendly pub. Enjoyed the sunshine sat outside under cover overlooking the bowling green.

A few of us enjoy a night out monthly with our pal Ged…..He has MND but his condition does not rule his life and this is recognised by the great staff at the pub ….they treat us all with the care exercised to all their customers…..great pub ….big thanks to all Danny Ged Mc Chris Ged D Martin Dec and Ant ….keep up the great work 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Lovely dinner, could have been hot rather than almost. Real ale was good shame about the pint glasses needing refreshing.

I would like to say a big thank you to Matt and his team. My family and I were had booked for our mum's wake. Nothing was too much trouble. Matt made sure that everything ran very smoothly and all of our guests were catered for with great professionalism. We are all looking forward to more visits to the Nursery as long as Matt is there to look after things

My first time visiting the Nursery pub in a long time the staff were so friendly , the food was delicious and excellent atmosphere.The pub is definitely going in the right direction. I would definitely recommend and I will be returning soon .

We recently attended a christening party at the Nursery Pub and Matthew and his team were excellent hosts.We were greeted on arrival and shown to our reserved area outside which was thoughtful and attentive, and it was clear from the get-go that the manager wanted to provide good service to us and the fellow guests.The bar staff were incredibly friendly, polite and efficient and offered a mixture of both table and bar service.The buffet was upstairs in the function room which had its own bar. Camilla, our server, was a delight- professional and efficient yet warm and engaging.The food was delicious with a mixture of traditional cold salads and warm curries and sundries. There was plenty to go around for the number of guests and again the chef/ catering staff were on-hand to make sure the buffet area was attended to and kept clean and tidy.I would highly recommend The Nursery Inn for a function. Our experience was excellent and I feel that Matthew and the team set out what they intended to do and provided an outstanding service.We shall definitely be back for drinks and food at The Nursery Inn- well done to all on a successful event!
