Called in for the Mild Challenge and a great choice of beers on tap. Prompt service and reasonable prices, worth a visit and will definitely be going again.

Great place to enjoy a quality beer close to the market. Interesting cask/keg/cider selection: they even had barley wine when I was there. There could well be a bottle shop upstairs full of Belgian rarities.

Really, really, really good place. The staff are friendly the beer choice is a amazing, both to drink in and to take out. Definitely worth a visit.

Owner is hateful toward council officers reporting their illegal parking. Incredibly bad.A review of your conduct as a business is just as valid as a review of the service you offer. The hypocrisy of suggesting it is inappropriate to review conduct is pitiful.

The selection of cask ales, ciders and perries is always excellent as is the bottle shop. Bring in a takeaway meal if you are hungry!

It gets very busy on a friday night when we went but I think that gave it good atmosphere!Lots of selection for drinks and they had 3 good IPA's on offer. They had a lovely band on which was good, the live acts are upstairs so if that's not your thing you don't need to worry! 👍
