Highly recommend! This is our second visit here now and everything was perfect! We had not booked a table but they quickly got a table ready for us. Staff very friendly and we were never left waiting for a drink ! Food all amazing and not long to wait for that either! Really good value for money! We will definitely be back! X

This place is my favourite Indian restaurant, the staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is tasty and full of flavour. Ive been coming here for a few years and it's recently changed hands but everything is still great and the new owner is great. I would recommend this place

Purple pakora (Marple)….Where the pakoras are unfortunately not purple to my utter disappointment!!!Visited here on the recommendation of a local. Decor was great and the waiting staff were also really friendly!Would rate what I had as follows (I provided this feedback to the owner at the time);Popadums with chutneys: 9/10Tadka daal: 8/10Chilli cheese naan: 4/10 (quality was good but had no cheese) this was changed for an alternativePaneer sashlik tikka: 2/10 (no flavour, oil not drained and was too hard)Pakora: 5/10Aloo tiki: 1/10 (tasted like reheated potato with no flavour)Veg spring rolls: 2/10 (these were Chinese style not indian)Chicken tikka masala: 3/10 (too sweet and too much tomato base)Rice: tasted like riceMentioned our dissatisfaction to the owner who took the paneer sashlik off the bill but we did not feel like we were dealt with in the best way by management!Of course everyone’s tastes are different and therefore my opinion is subjective and only based on the day we visited.

Great food in a relaxed environment and not too expensive.... went during the week and it was not full and got lots of attention 👍👍

Very disappointed , from initial arrival and walking through the door at the Marple restaurant it was clear that there was little planning, experience or common understanding between the young members of staff who it must be noted were very polite. Starters and main courses were tasty but all came out almost cold and the table service between courses was very poor and unprofessional, this could be likely to a very young team with lack of experience but they remained very polite throughout and explained that they were having staff issues and a manager had recently left.... such a shame as we were really looking forward to our visit..... hopefully they can turn things around

We waited an hour and a half before we got our overcooked food and there were only 2 tables occupied, including us.

AMAZING! Indian is my favourite food so I've been to lots of curry restaurants and can say this is the BEST curry I've ever had. Lovely attentive staff. Definitely recommend!

3 hour wait for curry. Constant lies about delivery. Never arrived. Don't waste your time

First time at the Purple Pakora in Marple, although we have previously frequented the Poynton PP. Food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Will be back.
