Old school old man's pub, one or two cask ales on, a great place if you like that kind of thing.

Ear to ear smiles after visiting today! Local, honest, friendly customer service and a top jazz band. Very pleasant way to spend a Sunday evening π

A friendly pub but on my visit only had Holt's best bitter on hand pump as the other bitter had gone on the turn. That said the Holt's beer was well kept.I have been here once before but there is nothing special to say about it as there are three much better pubs within the local vicinity selling a much wider / varied selection of real ales / craft beers. I believe there is occasionally live bands that play here but not on my rare visits.
