The Seashell Fish and Chip Shop in Stockport

This is the most expensive chippy I've ever seen in my life. I've lived in London and the chippys there are not even this expensive. Absolutely ridiculous. £3.30 for a pie, £2.10 for gravy. They even charge 40p for a sachet of sauce. Having peoples pants down. That's twice the price of any other chippy. Remortgage your house if u want to visit

Went for lunch and was surprised it wasn't busy for a Friday then I knew why - The cost.Chips, Sausage, Curry & a can of drink was £7.40. The food was good but its chips and curry. Its Heaton Moor not Mayfield in London 😳

Chips were not very good lots of bits in my portion fish was OK

Fantastic traditional fish and chip shop with friendly staff who always go the extra mile. According to legend, one of the oldest chip shops in the country and it ably maintains that illustrious tradition.

After 2 bad experiences at this chip shop the owner has had his staff put things right today and I have really enjoyed my lunch chips cooked to perfection and the pudding and peas really good

I always really enjoy the food from The Seashell. Hands down one of the best fish and chip shops around.My go to for a chippy tea in the heatons.

Lovely Fish and chips long queue always a good sign but we'll worth the wait yummy

This place came highly recomended but I wasnt impressed. The fish was coated in thick uncooked batter under the batter which I didnt enjoy.

We always really enjoy the food and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. A great traditional fish n chips shop and a real asset to Heaton Moor! Keep up the good work.

Fantastic Traditional Fish and Chip Shop. Fish cooked fresh to order in a lovely batter, chips always lovely. Obviously a varied menu but I love my fish, chips and peas, lol. Customer service outstanding. I wish this business every success now and in the future.
