Massive thanks to all the girls, staff, and Jerry the chef! At the spring gardens Had a last minute arranged 50th birthday meal, and from the start was looked after superbly nothing was too much trouble for the kind friendly staff. Great choice of drinks at good prices, and the food and choice of meals was the very best we have had for a long time! Jerry pulled out all the stops to give 100% great food.,beautifully presented.So glad we went and will be definitely going there again! Thanks again!Ps also very dog friendly place too!

Visited again Sunday in the snow. Apologies for not giving a review earlier as been here several times. Great pub restaurant, excellent interior with log fire.Staff always friendly and the food is very well presented, great value and very tasty.Will be back soon.

We used this venue as a campervan stopover. Which was mostly OK. When we arrived to pitch up the parking area was pretty well at capacity due to a Bowls match, tis cleared after about 2 hours or so and we were able to pitch up. As this was free we decided to meet with my sister and partner and my son. The 5 of us had a pleasant meal in the pub which we enjoyed. I would suggest that the proprietors consider putting an outside drinking water tap and marked bins for waste recycling. I have no doubt that we shall be visiting again.

We had the Sunday lunch sharer a couple of weeks ago. Oh my word how good was that 🤤. The whole experience overall, the staff were bubbly bright and on the ball. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty to go at. We sat outside in the lovely open air with our dog a way from the bar. Did we feel we had to wait for service NO NOT ONE BIT as said the staff were brilliant. We will 💯 % be going back…….. In fact that’s it choice made we’re headed there today 👌🙏

The pub looks great at the back with all the nice flowers and there are lots of locals here. It’s great but the only downside is it says table service only yet the staff don’t come out to order from you, you have to go to the bar. They do a nice selection of beer and have a large markee for a large capacity. Inside is also nice!

Tried the new take away Sunday lunch on Sunday and it was absolutely delicious. I collected as I live 10 miles away. I was greeted at the front door and paid using chip and pin. The food was really really well packaged and was still piping hot when I got home. I've had a Sunday lunch at the pub before and was very pleased to find the take away lunch just as good as the one I had inside. I would highly recommend the Spring Gardens for a takeaway Sunday lunch. Also if you chose to collect, you get 10%off.

Really like this pubGreat variety of food and drinks available and they also host a local VW car group meet every month which brings some of the coolest old buses for all to see (car group is SK-VWs)
