Easy to park, easy access for able bodied and disabled bodied people, friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks, above average food.

Was there today and the Christmas theme made it so homely! The lady behind the bar was brilliant!!I cant wait to go back. Such a friendly place even for "non locals"

Ordered 2 pints for me and my 13 year old son . Barstaff drop kicked my son and threw me over fruit machine. Son has a severe knee problem and wobbled home crying. Safe to returning

Nice place... food not too bad...cheap enough...I was with a fussy eater... even he was happy... that's a job on its own hahaha

Use to meet the lads here of a Sunday after cricket. Fab memories of the place. Decent parking spaces and enough space for big groups too

A great Sunday dinner and very reasonable price will definitely be going again

Colette & her team at "The Straw" are always welcoming & helpful. From a friendly pint & a meal, up to group bookings & events, such as bike shows. Has a large car park & beer garden, a small park for kids to play on & a bouncy castle, if memory serves me well.
