Nice garden centre, lots of plants, seeds and bulbs, along with all the usual tools and lights ect. Also a pet shop, and a very nice cafe. There is also a miniature railway and play zone (couple of pounds for a ride and access to the play zone) all in all a good few hours can be spent there with stuff for the kids as well as the adults.

Dobbies is a good garden centre, it's expensive but the plants are good quality. The cafe is nice - although often busy and limited choice it's handy for the kids to play in the play area while you have a coffee. The highlight of Dobbies for us is the little train, we come regularly just for the train 👍

Beautiful garden centre! Such a big variety of gorgeous flowers. It also has a lovely children's play area just beside the cafe area!

This is a great garden centre for families. The train runs on the weekends and theres a toddler soft play inside near the cafe.

Went for a first visit in over 10 years, looking for bedding plants and a specimen maple tree, had a number of National Garden vouchers to spend. Plant quality was very good, a big choice and all looked healthy and vigorous, but at a cost. It seemed prices were all on the high side, but we were pleased with what we bought. Parking and access was good, but the cafe was a bit of a let-down, and didn't pass the toasted tea-cake and coffee test, not even a home-made scone to be had. Even making allowances for the current situation and staffing difficulties, it was underwhelming. With so many large garden centres competing for the same customers, it is a bit surprising that Dobbies didn't try a bit harder.

Beautiful and a good variety of plant's, shrub's, garden pot's and ornament's. Bedding plant's are in.Paving and hard material's for re-designing your garden. I was taken with the lovely paving stone.Garden shop has product's in that you didn't know that you needed!?We had tea/coffee and cake in the restaurant and they do a variety of meal's at a reasonable price.Plenty of parking.

Our local garden centre & my wife has a loyalty card albeit I am not a big gardening fan. However I was pleasantly surprised on my visit today at the set-up, very helpful and friendly staff with a wide stock, a great cafe & a wonderful pets corner franchise. Well worth a visit.

Great garden centre with some lovely indoor and outdoor plants. You can take your dogs in with you to the pet shop. Also has a homeware section. Staff very helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced. Now I actually know where it is will definitely be going here again.

I'm giving 2 stars for the train..make sure you bring some cash!We had afternoon tea here. Staff were nice. Sandwiches OK, scone ok, cakes dreadful. Even my 2 year old snubbed them all. Bought in dry tasteless cakes. We left most of them. Really not worth the money. This place also needs a deep clean. The chairs all had loads of crumbs visible In the crevices 🤮. The play area hadn't been hoovered in months and toilets were not great either

The reason l gave 4 stars is due to the fantastic detailed information the lady gave me today 24/04 outside when l was buying some by plants. She was so lovely and obviously takes pride in her work, sorry l did not get her name. It is nice to see someone so enthusiastic about giving exceptional service. It seems quite rare these days. The selection in this Dobbie’s is not as good as the one l visit in Edinburgh.
