Extremely poor service, many items unavailable. Wrong soups delivered to table and lengthy delay to rectify. Offered Louisiana strips in place of chicken strips from grazers menu due to lack of availability to since discover both are the same product therefore both out of stock. Issue with carvery counter meaning service was temporarily stopped, delaying meals. No I’ve cream deserts available at all!! Serving staff very slow and appeared to lack knowledge. Overall poor experience. Nowhere near normal standards

Very similar to pubs in the same chain.Ordered food, drinks and desserts. All were good with large portions and great value for money. Some items were unfortunately missing off the menu which was a shame.Staff were generally efficient and helpful throughout.

We initially ordered at the bar because the app doesn't accept blue light discount but at the bar they offer 20% off meals. One meal out of 3 came out quite quickly. We had to ask another waiter to locate the other 2 meals for us. The meals themselves were very nice and the steak cooked very well. 2 out of 3 plates were cleared away and the waiter forgot to come back for the other plate. Qued for ages to order dessert due to one staff member taking all the food orders but most of the desserts were not available. Quite a few people walked out due to the slow service. Seemed massively under staffed yet there was a lot of empty tables

We went last night after trying to ring all day to book, so i booked online. We chose this place due to having a play area for our 2 year old. We got there and the queues for the bar were 10 people deep with 1 till open. After we cleaned our own table down as no one was clearing tables. Every table near the play area if you can call it that! Had plates and glasses on. Not one table was ready and cleaned. The knife and forks were dirty. After debating to stay or not we decided what to eat we went to the bar and still a long queue to then be told to download the app to order food. At this point we packed up and left. We also seen a few other tables do this also. We won't be returning to this pub again. Shocking service and dirty all round!

Went in for a carvery, had to wait about 5 to 10 mins to get in and be seated as no one was on front of house. Staff were friendly, carvery was not the best, could be just we got them on a bad day. The beef was tough and really chewy. Would probably give it another try to see if it's better next time.

We went early doors to avoid a crowd and having to wait. Had a great meal (carvery)couldn't finish it all as full up. Their desserts alone are worth going for..very well priced! The staff (Emma,Linby, etc were very helpful and welcoming. ). Would definitely go again..

We’ve been going to Ash Tree every week since Wayne started his quiz nights there. And after a very disappointing last 2 visits we will definitely not be returning! Last week I waited an hour and 20 minutes for a starter, I had to clean my own table before we could even sit down, and we waited over 30 minutes for drinks we had ordered on the app. This week was just as bad, they give away the tables you’ve booked if someone else gets there before you, you queue for half an hour to get served to then have them take 15 minutes to make your drinks, tables are left uncleared and the staff just act like they don’t even wanna be there. Only reason we have been going is for the quiz because it’s such an enjoyable night, but we will be travelling further to a different farm house inn from now on. Honestly the worst service we have ever received.

Had a carvery today, hot, fresh, delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely massive !! Only managed half of it, which was a shame, as it's the best I've ever tasted. My granddaughter is very fussy re chocolate brownie but she really enjoyed it.Staff very welcoming, polite and friendly. All in all, cannot fault it.Thankyou

Carvery was lovely, normal menu looked good but stuck to the carvery. Loads of choice when serving yourself. Very welcoming staff. Not to over priced, £70 for 5 of us with drinks and pudding. Kid friendly pub. Only down side was it was our first time and we struggle with the food ordering App (downloading and ordering/payment in my Smart phone) not the pubs fault, just my bank thinking fraud was being committed 🤦 recommend downloading the Green kings App before you go and registering.

What a fantastic place. The meal was superb. The service exceptional. Staff were chatty and welcoming. The lad on the carvery was so friendly asking how our day had been. Will definitely go again and recommend to family and friends. As you can see our Granddaughter enjoyed her dessert and the play area. Thank you to all staff for a lovely meal and atmosphere.
