Balti Chef in Tameside

Ordered the mixed shashlik kebabs and chips. Food arrived on time, hot and was lovely. The lamb was a little chewy but overall the food was nice. Would order again!

Terrible takeaway. Stay clear and order elsewhere. A large kebab here is a child’s portion. Missing items are common. Cold and poor quality food. Abysmal customer service when we rang to complain, told wait an hour and the guys attitude stank. £30 wasted on chewy tasteless food.

Order from here from Justeat originally and really enjoyed it. Ordered the second time directly using their website which is straight forward. I am a keen curry fan, the hotter the better! Since moving to Greenfield I have struggled to find somewhere that does a good vindaloo and food which tastes really good and fresh so I really happy we have now found Balti Chef because this is now our regular going forward. The delivery driver is also very polite and during the COVID-19 pandemic is adhering to distancing rules and 'sprints' down the stairs to the front gate which I admire and appreciate. He is also really pleasant and friendly. We can't fault the people, service, delivery time, food or the spiciness of their vindaloo, so what is not to like about Balti Chef - give them a try.

Used many times and the food NEVER fails, tried something different and it was delicious, well done you will get the award back at this rate. Always use local.

Forgot sauces rang to tell them bad attitude and they said they would bring when they could resulting in cold food and we also ordered a large kebab which was very small no way worth it will not use again.

Terrible food, cold, cardboard tasting and relatively small. A large kebab there is as large as a small one at other places. The chips were the best part even though they tasted like greasy oven chips. The pizza was hard and had a curry after-taste from the cookers not washing their hands or changing their gloves.

Rank!! Had to microwave food..greasy puddle of grease!!! Chips disgusting £26.00 in the bin..rang to complain and he said thank you 🤣..👌beltin customer service pal!!!

I miss this place! It was our favourite Indian in Saddleworth. Lovely staff and lovely food. Everything was perfect. We had been their customers 10 years till we moved away. I highly recommend them!!

Carn't even cook chips our order came and the chips were raw so I rang up and told them and got another portion that was also raw I went in to tell them and there attitude is all wrong saying they give everyone the same chips then a man from the back came round and started shoating saying you complained twise what are you moaning on about (ATTITUDE STINKS) this is all about chips sort ur eds outs chips in a fryer 4 mins at the most

A great bunch of lads, always courteous, always friendly and always lovely food (with tasty healthy options when the mood takes you).I always recommend the Balti Chef whenever anyone asks and they're always very happy I did.Cheers lads, keep up the good work.
