Such a shame… it’s my local pub been in here a few times now and never had an issue, I noticed the manager wasn’t in here, when the cats away the mice will play, roast was freezing, kids meal came out 10 minutes after the adults, adults meal Luke warm, finished our drinks, 4 members of staff looking over but now asking if we’ll wanted another, staff members gossiping at the bar clearly heard them Slagging the chef off.Very disappointed

Usually very good. Went before Xmas got put in a room with about 30 people who were celebrating a birthday, very drunk rowdy people. No windows open so no ventilation so if anyone had covid we all would. Felt very uncomfortable. Food cool and substandard, 'homemade' chips very cold and rubbery as if cooked then warmed up. If unable to provide good quality and service maybe they should lower bookings.

Really enjoyed the meal, went for a leaving meal, the place accommodated me my meal (battered cod minus the beer) deserts was really nice and nice atmosphere.Only thing that was commented on within our group was about how the waiters/waitresses seemed like they didn't want to be there although they was very pleasant and helpful but overall looking from afar they looked bored etc. But overall highly recommended place. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

The Heroes of Waterloo was recommended to us by our neighbours; so, we thought we give it a go. From the moment we walked n, the staff were attentive, friendly, and provided textbook service. The pizza was the best I’ve ever had, and the fish and chips were lovely. Very meaty fish and hand cut chips. The decor is really nice and there’s a gorgeous outdoor seating area that can be used all year round. We’ll most definitely be back!

Atmosphere was great. The food was amazing even though we only had dirty fries & garlic & cheese pizza bread. The prices for food & drinks are so reasonable too. Will definitely be coming back.

First family meal since lockdown. It was just amazing. The food was beautiful, the staff were super friendly... and there was beer 🍺. Thanks for having us 😊

Great food and nice setting. We arrived in mid afternoon for a nice lunch and ordered four meals and drinks for four. The food came relatively quick considering we are in England where food usually takes a long time to serve. Fries or chips as they call them were hot and fresh. The sandwich I ordered was a Hero club sandwich and it was very tasty.
