The atmosphere is not restaurant quality! Too nosiy and rowdy, the food was ok I have had worse but just a step up from pup grub, apart from the Spanish omelette which was nothing like a spainish omelette, being half Spanish this was disappointing!but my partner had diarrhoea the minute he got home so the food is not of great quality, in the croquets there was a massive brown hair in it, this was refunded to us and the waitress was nice and that is what the one star is for, will not be returning.

We ordered some tapas from here while out for a drink at the Lazy Toad pub, not realising this place was located here too! Really great food. We will definitely be back for more.

·

We absolutely love this place. Geraldine and Arlene are superb hosts, the service and food is excellent. El Sapo Perezoso comes highly recommended. There's not a single tapas bar that cones close in Manchester

Been a few times and the food is beautiful. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Only negative is the dishes are served one at a time, not all together, which isn't the way tapas is normally served. Is this kitchen staffing issues or not quite grasping the true idea of tapas. Service can be slow, so allow enough time.

Not restaurant quality, really disappointing if you love tapas, croquettes were bland, try using some ham & cheese in there, or spice it was a mash ball essentially the squid looked & tasted frozen I’ve had better calamari in pubs. The tomato sauce could do with more veg in, the steak bites were over cooked dry in the middle. The prawns were nice the sauce they came in was basic, try oil with onions garlic and chilli. The albondigas were dense and seemed frozen, Such a shame as I was too excited to live so close to a tapas place but I’ll not be returning unless they revamp the dishes!

·

Lovely place but hard to get in. Mainly on a Sunday when 2 for 1 is on. Worth going to on any day. Still good food and price. Quality is great.

20 of us booked here at the end of October for my mums 80th. We booked the buffet option because of the party size. Its more of a set menu that is brought to your table rather than a buffet. The food was excellent and plentiful. We were in the new conservatory room which was made bright for the birthday girl. We took banners and balloons in the morning and the room was decorated and ready for us when we arrived. The staff were great and accomodated the fussy eaters too. All together it was a great evening and mum and dad want to go back again. Thanks to all the staff.
