IKEA in Tameside

It's IKEA canteen. It isn't haute cuisine. Perhaps it's me, but it always seems like a disorganised school canteen. On this occasion the food was lukewarm the queue was huge, when the second counter opened there was no control of the tidal surge of people who dashed across.The drinks machines had nozzles missing and some out of order, the service at the till slow and disorganised. There is no instructions for the uninitiated.Are the drinks refillable? The man on the till asked if it wanted to pay for a refillable drink but then there was signs saying drinks arnt refillable.Poor considering all the kit and space they have.

I wasn't able to get a receipt. Booths are taken up with people just getting a hot drink and using the Internet. Tables are not being cleaned or cleared. The toilets were clean but strewn with paper. This is customers not staff. I reported my complaint to a staff member by the lifts. Things ran better when covid rules were stricter

Good food at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful when serving.

Decent food, spacious.
