Lams in Tameside

Love the food from here. The only place I get my Chinese food from. I travel from Oldham for it.

Never knew a chippy to be cheap food portions are the smallest iv ever had from a chippy. Sausages are half the size dunno what they are playing at but don't recommend going here if your hunger unless u have a fat wallet

Bought fish and chips from here today and got it home and it was cold. I took it back and they refused to exchange it or refund me because I'd had a bite of the fish. When I asked for the food back they refused and I was threatened with a meat cleaver! Police have been informed and I will be reporting them to trading standards

Local chippy very nice food, been using this chippy for a while and never fails to give me a nice tea.

Nice traditional fish and chips plus an extensive Chinese food menu. Just wish they delivered, but if in the area it's a lovely takeaway.......

Ordered 2 fish for collection so i didn't have to wait. On arriving saw a guy leaving with one of my fish while the other sat in the hot cupboard. Had to wait for my second while the other dried out under the lights. Not at all impressed with that kinda service. Hope you enjoy your dried out 1 star :)

Going to Lam's is a friendly experience. Massive portions and good value However, it appears from other reviews that some customers have unusual palates. One gentleman has apparently been consuming dog food whilst another complained about his order and the standard of the cuisine, whilst denying eating any of it. How does that work?

Well where do I start after. Long day at work I think chippy for the family sounds nice new to the area too so went to lams takeaway for food ordered x2 chips pudding and curry and a extra portion of curry gets home and no curry then opens the trays and sees the puddings amencely over cooked like eating dog food in fact I would not even give it the dog I would not recommend this choppy to anyone at all and it's not me being sour I don't review places but my oh my it's horrendous
