Everything's gone downhill since they switched the coffee counter from self service to staffed. Every time you walk in its "45 minute wait on hot food" even when the place is only a third full. So you wait 45 minutes and get a very below average, half cold breakfast.

Nice food good service

Very expensive to say that you have to do everything yourself except cook the meal! First you spend 10 minutes trying to piece together your cutlery and condiments, then sit down to find you have to waste another 10 minutes trying to butter your own toast whilst your meal goes cold!

Ordered food on in-store touch screen. Later told that even though we’d paid for them they were not available. Waited over 30 minutes. Bacon sandwich was ok though not very hot. Small breakfast, pictured was literally more than accurate. Beans were tepid. Unlikely I’ll return.

ordered full English breakfast and a tea on deliveroo. was meant to have fried bread with it but instead was chips thrown all over the top of it. beans were very cold like they'd just been poured from the tin. bacon was tasteless and mushrooms tasted odd and full of oil. but what infuriated me the most was I paid £1.20 for a teabag in a paper cup! that was meant to be the cup of tea. you should state on your menu on deliveroo that it's a just a teabag not a cup of tea. robbing gets

Called here for a breakfast one morning, food was cooked well and was served hot, what more can you ask for.

Staff were great and very attentive. The selection of fresh sandwiches has shrunk as has the usual variety of goods. After a short wait my full breakfast arrived which was well presented and served with a smile. I found it was only luke warm which was disappointing as it as nearly cold towards the finish. The price was right but I won't return in a hurry.

Not up to it's usual high standard today. No steak pies, no proper fish, chips were lukewarm and the brunch was poorly cooked and missing an egg. Maybe it will be better on another day.

Gave 3 because the staff very nice and helpful but food-wise not for me. As a vegetarian they do not cook the quorn sausage right, it's overdone and as a result, hard, mushrooms way too many and overcooked. Also dietry-wise, I cannot have wheat free bread. Depending on the time, their home made soup is out of a can and you pay the same. You get side dishes you don't want as 'it comes with the food'. On the plus side, jacket potatoes usually good.

Staff were lovely but obviously under pressure. . Food took ages( short of half an hour) to come and the tray trolleys were full, so people just leaving finished trays on the tables. We saw one lady come out from the kitchen with a sweeping pan and brush to clean the floor whilst ignoring the dirty crockery mounting up on the tables. Never seen anything like that before. It certainly let down the dining experience for us as a party, as it is usually clean and tidy. It won't put us off coming again but didn't enjoy this visit. Sorry.
