Couldn't fault the food but the staff weren't exactly welcoming or helpful. We didn't receive cutlery when our food arrived so had to go to the bar to ask for some while my meal was sat going cold. Also no condiments offered so again had to go back to the bar which we felt uncomfortable doing as the person on the bar wasn't very pleasant. Definitely put us off going again.

If you love frozen food, you’re in for a treat! The meats were excellent, however was let down by the fresh from the freezer vegetables. There’s a sign above the bar saying grab a table and remember the number to order at the bar. We did this and ordered at the bar, headed to the Carvery only to meet a waiter after we’d filled our plates telling us that we are sat at a reserved table. They told us that they hadn’t put the sign out yet and that we should of gone straight to the bar. When a sign tells you to sit at a table and head to the bar, you’re gonna take this as the way it works. Don’t tell your customers off because you haven’t managed to put reservation signs out.

Good pub, but the reason for going is the carvery food. Gone for the roast meats and lots of vegetables. The menu also has a wide selection.

·

Lovely food and nice decor.only a small negative. The prices are wrongly advertised. A regular will cost you £8.95.But still 5 stars from me.

·

Great food lively atmosphere enjoyable lunch. If you like it quite this is not the place for you as its busy busy and food nice and fresh. Only deduction for the 1 star was for no decent signs advising how to order and the difference in offers.

Not been since the covid out break. Went tonight and still by far the best carvery place in tameside. Only downside tonight was the gorgeous honey roasted parsnips was burnt. Apart from that its still 5 stars for me 👌

Good service carvery was good ...Dec's very pretty 😊

This is a little gem of a place to find in Audenshaw. We went for the carvery as heard so many good reviews from both friends and family and they cerrajnly didn't disappoint. Better then the usual Toby carvery, but at roughly the same price but so much better taste and selection of both meets and veg. Friendly staff and really food experience. Keep up the good work guys.

I can't recommend their food enough - my initial visits were for their famous carvery but today I tried the sweet and sour chicken. You just don't get food like this in pubs. All fresh produce and it showed in the delivery. Well done Chef!

Carvery was really nice! I am exempt from wearing a mask so I could fill out a piece of paper with what I wanted very easy ... friendly staff the other food came out piping hot .
