San Remo in Tameside

We were very disappointed with our visit to San Remo. The soup was little more than a small amount of hot water with a few bits of veg and the odd piece of pasta in the bottom of a soup dish, the garlic bread appeared to be void of garlic, and my steak Diane listed on the menu as sirloin, appeared of poor quality. and not what I expected as Steak Dian, more like Steak in a sweet gravy with some mushrooms added, . However the desert, was well presented and pleasantly flavoured. Other members of my party were just as disappointed with there meal and commented they left feeling hungry. The waiter service was poor and rushed, by several individuals casually dressed. The check on departure did not reflect the poor standard of our visit.

I visited recently with a group of friends, the food was gorgeous and the wine was lovely and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Me and my partner visited 6-5-22 for a table for two. Very nice place and friendly staff, food was amazing and even catered for me when I never seen the ribs on the starter menu but they made sure I had them. The girl behind the bar was fantastic making cocktails for us which my partner loved. The other girl working there was very nice too and made us welcome. We will be back as the food was amazing and so was the general feeling of the place.

My mum treated me & my. Family for my fifty second. Birthday, at San Remo restaurant in. Denton the food was excellent we where, looked after really well, the staff where Excellent, i would highly recommend to the. People of Denton. 😋

We've loved this place for years but may now be looking for a new Italian place to eat at.The portion sizes have decreased massively to the point we ordered sides this time as well. Also, prices have risen quite significantly (and yes I know they have everywhere) but when the pasta is the same dried pasta I can buy in a supermarket, £10 for a dish with a bit of sauce, cheese, mushrooms and ham is expensive when there's not much of it.Service was lacking with the table being cleared whilst people were still eating. This could have been forgiven if the place was rammed - but it wasn't.I was surprised to be able to ring on a Friday night and get a table for 15 minutes later but after our visit, I can see why. Sorry San Remo but you're not what you once were!

Came to San Remo this evening for dinner and it was such an amazing restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Waiters/waitresses all very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and very reasonable prices too. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon! Thank you :)

Do not order the King Prawn Spagetti. Prawns were small as well as portion. Prawns seemed like they were shop bought and defrosted there and then.

Full family meal our, always great experience here. The staff are great, plenty on the menu and food & drink really tasty

Cosy Family-friendly authentic Italian eating place with great service and quality food! Close proximity to parking at the back, located on side of the main road in Denton M34 3PR. Truly enjoyed meal and atmosphere!

The food here is gorgeous!! Staff are very friendly especially the lady with long dark hair always back over making sure we are ok enjoying the food ect.... The ribs melt in your mouth the steak was cooked exactly how I wanted .... Cocktails was great nice little atmosphere 👌
