Shuhag in Tameside

Haughton Green institution. The Village would not be the same without Suhag. Great food. Friendly staff. Suitably priced. Good to also sit in the little restaurant rather than takeaway and it is Bring your Own drinks

Had a curry from here it was bland hardly had any flavour other than that the staff were very pleasant and kitchen and waiting on area looked very clean however the number 1 thing for me is how good the food is

Lovely food great service and very friendly staff, I was even impressed that the chef walk round and check everything was ok with the meal. we will be going more the only thing is it Does not sell alcohol but you can take your own in they don't mind.

Absolutely amazing meal. Very fast delivery which is always great but the food was something else. We have ate from here several times and it's always been perfect. Hands down the best Indian food in tameside.

Been using Suhag for a few months now, spend on average £20-£30 (large family including 2 vegetarians)I'm in dispair tonight, they know I'm a regular, they know a couple of us are veggie and tonight I ordered 2 veggie samosas to go with our meal.During eating, I bit into a samosa and it was completely filled with CHICKEN!!!!I know some of you may think, oh here we go, a vegetarian moaning, but this is my life choice and my daughters, and I've had a dead body in my mouth.I'm distraught, i didn't eat any of my meal, my daughter couldn't eat hers.Rang the restaurant and although he was apologetic, I don't think he realises the seriousness of what happened. NO REFUND GIVEN, ONLY FREE FOOD NEXT TIME, KNOWING FULL WELL I'M NEVER GOING TO EAT THERE AGAIN.I feel like bleaching my whole self.I will NEVER use this place again, infact, I'm never eating takeout food again.Such a massive mistake to make for a non meat eater.Avoid if you don't eat meat. I have lost all trust in them now. Just don't trust them. Below is my left over food, lots of food went in the bin tonight.

First visit and I was impressed. We had the five course set dinner. This was very nice and served quickly.They don't have a bar so it is a bring your own drinks place.Would recommend.

It honestly is one of the best Indian Restaurants I know. The curries are delicious and never disappoint. The starters are perfectly cooked. The staff are wonderful and treat you as friends rather than customers, you can tell it's a closely knit team working to keep the restaurant at tip top shape. The menu is large and offers many great options.Not only that, you can take your own drinks in which can save you a lot of money.It also offers takeaways which is a massive plus!You should definitely eat here!
