Sun Lok in Tameside

We haven't bought from here for a while & although the Chinese food we ordered was ok, the fish wasn't good....poor tasting batter & very greasy & disappointing. Also 'cash only' not good these days. There are definitely 2 better places in Stalybridge for fish & chips & we won't be back here anytime soon.

Delicious fish and chips. Chips nice and crisp, curry sauce brill, and batter on the fish really light & crispy. My favourite local! Prawn crackers very moreish!

Great food... enjoyed a selection of dim sum and other starters...

Excellent service, really nice food, good value.

Takeaway chippy/Chinese used to be my favourite place.I don't know what has happened to the chips, but please go back to how you used to make them!The have bumped up the prices recently also....

Only had chips and curry, disappointing, no salt offered, big black bits in chips binned majority. :(

Disappointing last few visits chips have be awfull gravy you can stand a fork up in it.Cash only a pain.

Had chicken chow mein. Pale tasteless chicken, next to no veg. Just alot of noodles with virtually no taste /flavour what-so-ever. Asked for extra sauce which wasn't done for us either. Disappointing to say the least...Won't bother going backAbsolutely average and bland...

The food was really enjoyable. It was my first time. I would definitely recommend this place and I look forward to going back again.

Salt n pepper chicken was delicious. Really nice not too greasy. Salt n pepper chips 👎. Was okay but didn't taste like snp. Chips could be a lot better. But overall nice food. Would definitely try again. Also looks nice and clean. The chips were a let down but gave 4 stars because the chicken was really tasty.
