Sweet Diner in Tameside

Sweet Diner was absolutely disastrous in all honesty. Without sounding too harsh, the service was quite good to begin with. They also facilitate for prayers etc which I felt was very good.In terms of the actual quality and taste of food, this was the first time ever more than 50% of it remained untouched. The only thing good about the starters were the chops. The wings and tenders were very bland and the nachos were too overloaded making them very soggy. The actual burgers were also very disappointing. The peanut butter chicken burger just felt like eating plain oversized pieces of chicken breast and the beef burger was horrendous. Overloaded with extra mince on there, it tasted more of ground beef rather than a steakhouse cheeseburger as it should’ve been. The food looked very appealing to the eye and appetising however it was far from that. I’m being as polite as possible however that was my personal experience. I unfortunately don’t think I’ll be going back again.

Sweet diner is a place that will never disappoint any burger lover. Whether it’s chicken or beef, this is the place to go as friends or with family. Been too many times and never experienced any bad food as well as customer service. Hands down best diner I’ve been to so far.And their desserts are amazing, get the milkshakes and waffles.. absolutely gorgeous-Update, went again and got the naga morich burger… cant get any better than this place guys, honestly. Morning after fries was too good!!!

The food is super good here and of good quality. I ordered the Kashmiri Zinga, the spice level was perfect and it was so filling. The portion of curly fries was enough to share between me and my friend.

Food was excellent,really nice atmosphere and interior. Staff hopeless though. I told them I'll order dessert after we finished mains, guy didn't bother telling me they stop serving desserts at 10.30, we ordered at 9.45 so obvious we needed to know that. He kept disappearing when we need yo ask for something took ages to get our drinks. Food was excellent though, especially the chicken Nachos, burger again really nice. Fries were average milkshake was spot on. Disappointingly had no cheesecake I wanted to try the cheesecake milkshake. Still annoyed didn't get yo sample the desserts but will be back to try next time, will need to remember the 10.30 cut off time. May increase to 5 star then if service has improved.

There was a big hype about this placeWe was sat next to other people even though the whole place was empty so there was no privacy at all. We got given menus and ordered the king Kong burger with the take out fries (fully loaded ) We got our food fairly quick on asking for sauces we were told it would be £1 extra so we agreed and were given a tiny bit of sauce which I thought given their pricing was stingy. The burger was big so had to eat it piece by piece the chicken burger tasted like boiled chicken and the gourmet burger tasted really salty. The chips were quite nice. At the end we wanted to pack food and were told its self packing. Overall very unsatisfied get better food and service in the local takeout not worth driving over an hour for.

We went on Saturday it was jam packed and 45 min wait finally we got the table but unfortunately it was just next to exit door and it was freezing so we just kept closing the door all the time. Finally food came we ordered kashmiri bun, bombay and kids burger meal.Food was tasty really enjoyed it.

Had the lotus biscoff milkshake , lotus and salted caramel cheesecake and the lovely monthly special naga chicken burger . A lovely double chicken Pattie fried with some lovely naga sauce and mint chutney amongst other sauces . This was definitely a stand out of the day visit to manchester . Will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends . The service was amazing and the food was top notch . Sweet diner gets a massive 5 out of 5 from me :)

Definitely a favourite spot for burgers and shake. This place never disappoints when it comes to delivering amazing customer service and exceptional flavour in their food. I've been here multiple times and it's never a let down. Staff are always helpful, presentation of food is great and it just keeps you wanting more!

Decent place, been here a few times, and I try a few new things every time I come. Burgers are really nice as are the wedges. Had nachos this time that weren’t that great but the fully loaded fries were good but certainly not the best I’ve had. Would come back to try the desserts because I always say I’ll try but I always order too much to start.

The Burgers here are nice, but not the best burgers around, the burger patties are more dry and crumbly than other places.Service is very good.The slush was nice and you get a lot of it!On my previous visit I did get the milkshake Straight Out Of Denton, that was one of the best milkshakes I had.I feel the burgers here are more Instagram pics than taste.Overall would recommend, give a try :)
