The Boundary in Tameside

We had our works Christmas Party at the Boundary this year and it was outstanding. The meals were perfect, all 18 of them, the service was brilliant, the staff were Friendly,efficient and know their jobs. I cannot recommend the venue enough. OUTSTANDING.

The Boundary is a wonderful pub, Sam and Paul have worked hard to make it there own since taking over. The pub is dog friendly and my Sadie is always made to feel super welcome. The pub is really modern now, there is a great selection of drinks and my hubby loves the pizza. The staff are friendly as well, always a brilliant atmosphere!

I have been to the boundary on a number of occasions and the staff and the owners made us feel very welcome. On one occasion I took my mum for afternoon tea for her birthday and the food was delicious and well worth the price. The boundary is a dog friendly pub and we took out dog with us and they provide bowls of water and poo bags if needed. They also have a beautiful beer garden with a VIP area and also has a play area for children. The owners and staff are happy to help with any queries if you have any.

We have visited the boundary quite a few times over the last few months. Its our new favourite place to eat at with our children. The atmosphere is friendly and very welcoming. The staff and owners can't do enough to make sure you are happy and looked after. After seeing some customers in there with their dogs we just had to take our pooch in Arlo. He got a treat, bowl of water and lots of fuss. It was so nice to not leave him at home as he is very much part of our family. Big thumbs up from the Buckley's.

We enjoyed some lovely food the other day, I had the lamb shank and my wife had the chicken skewers. Both came and were hot and very tasty. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, we will definitely be returning 👍🏼

Great local pub. Really good atmosphere and service has always been spot on. Can’t wait to go again and try all the various gins. Has a fab function room upstairs, great for celebrating any occasion. It’s a little gem.

Awful service from start to finish, food is served until 6pm, arrived at 5.30 and ended up leaving and without eating. Won't be going back.I used to take my daughter in most Sundays before covid and you had to wait to be seated. So we stood at the entrance to the conservatory like we used to. A staff member walked past us twice without even saying hi. So I had to stop her to ask do we just pick a table and order at the bar. To which I was told yes.The rest of my family sat down and I went to the bar. Waiting whilst the bar staff chatted to another customer. Eventually I was asked what we wanted to drink. Ordered and asked for menus to be told we will check if we are still serving. By now it's 5.40 no where near 6??Never got given menus and gave up waiting to be told if they were serving. Went to tell the family we are leaving after having the drinks we wouldn't have even ordered if they had a clue about service.Basically ignored by 3 members of staff the whole time we were, treated like outsiders not the regular click, despite being a regular and living in Audenshaw for 20 years.Joke of an operation, wasn't even busy.

Well what can I say??? I went to the boundary a few months ago for my birthday and have nothing but positives to write about Sam and the team, from start to finish they were amazing so polite, so friendly, so warm nothing was too much trouble, it was still outdoor service and we were provided with blankets and sat under a lovely shelter to make sure we were warm, out door space is amazing and so dog friendly! I couldn't see how you could give less than a 5 star even got a complementary jumper!! 😉😊

Excellent choice of beers great atmosphere staff very polite and welcoming, all areas very clean and comfortable nice outdoor area with views of the canal and local wildlife, will try their food on my next visit menu looks very appealing. Like your real ales give it a try.

Great value in this place. The home cooked food was rich in taste, particular to the pub and hearty. Everyone said it was a great meal and the price was great. I didn't have any tea I was still stuffed from lunch.
