A fantastic Pub. Great staff and a great atmosphere. The Thai food was excellent. Highly recommended.

First time dining for a party of 6. Great surroundings and very attentive staff. We had a mixture of thai starters and then thai mains, all beautifully cooked and very well presented and certainly very filling. Some even managed a sweet. Very highly recommended and will definitely be returning. Many thanks to all the staff.

Called in for lunch; had the vegi Thai curry with cashew nuts and coconut rice, absolutely gorgeous! Staff are friendly and welcoming , thanks for a lovely experience

Came here bank holiday weekend with the in laws and we were all so impressed. Great mix of Thai and English on the menu to please everyone. Food was amazing, fast and friendly service. Would highly recommend

Came to THE BUXTON INN. For our 49th wedding anniversary. The meals we had were fantastic. Compliments to the chef. We recommend it to everyone. Nice ambiance, good food, although it was just the two of us, we both enjoyed it very much.

We came in on the chance the buxton has a place for usto eat. The restaurant was busy and they let us know the food may be slightly longer than usual. We went outside as we had brought our dogs and there was treats, and water on the side for us to give to the them. The staff were polite and friendly and very professional. The food did take a little longer but its mothers day and i wouldn't say we were waiting an excessive amount of time considering how busy it obviously would be, but even so the staff came to apologise and offered us a free round of drinks, which wasn't due or expected but we appreciated it all the same. they also came and gave my mother a plant for mothers day which helped make her day that much more special. The food came and it was exemplary. Considering this was an unexpected pitstop for a drink on a mothers day walk. We had an amazing time. Thank you to all the staff for thegreat service.

Firstly let me say that the service was great, friendly and efficient. However the food was rather disappointing. It looked great but was not very authentic to Thai food. My food was tasty but not wonderful but my sons had a very strange taste. Two people had burgers one said there's was good but the other was over cooked. On the whole disappointing.We didn't raise it with the staff because there wasn't anything specifically wrong just the food was not really to our taste and not what we expected as it wasn't very authentic. (One of our party is Thai and one had lived there for several years whilst others had visited). Our visit was yesterday lunchtime.

Had the Thai food. What I had I wouldn't recommend as it was too sweet. The larp tasted nothing like larp and used sliced chicken when it usually uses minced pork, maybe they couldn't source the ingredients. It was okay and maybe people who have never been to Thailand and had the authentic food would like it. However me and my wife didn't enjoy the meals we chose.Presentation was nice and the service was good.

Pre Christmas Pub of the Month visit with my best friend, we weren't disappointed.A wide menu , Thai , English options, also vegan and gluten free.Tasty food , comfortable surroundings, friendly staff and good service, meals were also fairly priced.
