Why advertise times when you turn the general public away !! Arrived at 19:00 two hours before closing kitchen to be turned away , no apology , nor any kind of good will gesture given as this was a wasted journey with no advertisement about kitching closing this is very frustrating . I have another picture showing empty seat but due to faces being show i can not upload on Google out of respect . SHOCKING BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS NOT WEEKS

Went to the venue with work friends, have to say the place needs redecorating, venue run down. Service was poor and the food was horrendous. I apricate that its pub food but this food was burnt and over cooked. clearly the person in the kitchen is not a qualified chef. We all agreed we would not spending any more in this venue it clear this place needs a new more competent manager.

Great food. The only down side was they didn't have the meal I originally came for. Still good food though

Can I just say before I get to the negatives the food was great tasty and nothing wrong with the kitchen and food that came out of it….. the problem I had was the bar and serving staff now one of them were lovely the worked so hard service 6+ tables on her own running to and from the kitchen like a headless chicken young girl with short brown hair tied up, the other 3 staff were on their phones down the side of the bar talking and doing nothing, then the older woman bar staff with short dark hair completely ignored our table and cleared a table she couldn’t even see in the back corner who finished 15-20 mins after us and then walked past our table not even acknowledging us at all. My children started getting restless and they wanted their ice-cream. We arrived at 3:10pm ended up leaving at 5:45 and we only came for food and had a couple drinks. Not acceptable letting that young girl do all the running while the other girls just stood about on their phones, as someone who has managed a bar and restaurant meant to work together for efficiency was tempted to help her out myself other than that everything was pleasant and great environment to be in

Had Xmas dinner there this year and although it wa too early for me really to have lunch it was very nice. The service was good, the staff were very pleasant and the food came out hot, prompt and tasted good. What more can you ask for on Xmas day. Oh yeah and the price was just great. They didn't do what other places have done and doubled their price because they were shut last year. So well done to all the staff and thank you for a great dinner.

Came yesterday for a meal, food was lovely. Staff were all pleasant. Will be back soon! Highly recommend

We won't b going back there! The meals we wanted was not available! So we choose something else that wasn't available either! Eventually I ordered the rump steak medium rare it came over cooked tough as old boots and the chicken was dry that we also ordered. There was onions on both r meals which was dried out! Not to mention the missing cutlery. We had also orded nachos to share? They was cold n the cheese was missing??

The food is good value for money, the staff are helpful and polite

Friendly service. Hot food and well presented. Children catered for. Affordable prices. Good place for families to pop out for a meal. Will return. The 3 star rating would have been 4 if our cocktail order had been served.Unfortunately the bar had no orange juice so our favourite drink couldn't be made and also 3 meals we chose were off the menu

As we didn't know the area we chose this place as it seemed convenient and very reasonably priced. The man serving at the bar was very good and friendly and could handle how busy it was getting. The place is very dated and could do with a refurb but the food was nice.Unfortunately one of the waiting staff had the loudest mouth and was talking to a group at another table and it just became ridiculous, he was very unprofessional and my other half wanted to leave but as the table were leaving I convinced him to stay for dessert. The waitress was nice but when she dropped a fork with her hands full she kicked it all the way to the kitchen rather than coming back and picking it up.If you want a nice meal and don't mind this kind of environment then I would recommend but this isn't the place I would return to.
