Staff great, beer cheap, food not so good. But then you don't expect much when you get a drink and a pizza for ÂŁ8.Saturday night, so extremely busy and difficult to find a table. Food might be better mid week when they're not so rammed.Extra point given for alcohol free Brewdog beer only being ÂŁ1.98 a bottle.

Standard wetherspoons. Nothing more to say. Although probably would have been a good idea to tell you they couldn't take card payments due to an issue prior to taking & serving your drinks order.

Today my parents went out for the first time in over eighteen months for a birthday/wedding anniversary meal but it was completely ruined by a group of very loud, foul mouthed people. Not just my parents who are in their late seventies but many other diners in the local of said people voiced that they felt uncomfortable and didn't enjoy their time at all. They had fish n chips which my father said was the only enjoyable part of the meal,Luke warm chips and peas but a stunning piece of fish. This was an early dinner so not what you would expect at that time.

Beer was on good form, ÂŁ2 a pint of real ale, what's not to like. Didn't try the food but in the main dining room, with roaring fire, was busy. The pandemic has hit this part of Stalybridge very badly however this establishment continues to strive.

What a sad state. Decided to go for a meal but discovered Steak was out of stock along with half the Burger offerings. Gave up trying to find anything other than Fish or Pizza. Left and went to an independent. Never again.

Stone cold breakfast, would've been warmer eating the live pig rather than this bacon. Heat spots in the mushrooms presumably from the 5 second microwave blast and the staff were rude and unwelcoming, lovely. One at Ashton is far better.

Worst weatherspoons ever been in trying to get served is a nightmare. Bar staff can see you waiting and just blank you . All seem to be busy with app orders . Go next door and get served straight away with a smile

Extremely RUDE waiter named ETHAN. Asked why it took 30 minutes just for 1 plate of chicken wings. He said the kitchen was very busy. I wasn't happy and continued with the conversation to which he replied 'IT IS WHAT IT IS ' . so I was angry and told him he had a bad attitude for hospitality and he replied 'IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHY DID YOU ASK' rude arrogant ignorant little barsteward. HOPE YOUR CHAIRMAN SEES THIS

Very nice pub, clean, very open layout. Not too noisy when I was there, but only 30% full. Lots of booths, these tables appear to have stone tops, very smart. Garden area is nicely done. Clearly money has been spent on the interior, quite stylish.

Really lovely staff and service here was really nice to be back after lockdown the beer garden is very cold and there isn’t any heating that I get outside just a warning to bring a blanket or a big coat here
