Fast service and staff were really friendly. I had smothered chicken and it’s the first time I ordered from a place and actually got streaky bacon than breakfast bacon! It was delicious, my nana whose quite a fussy eater also ate pretty much everything on her plate.Thank you for such great service today.

The pic is supposedly a cheese ploughmans, bread roll was inedible as it was stale. Had to ask where the chutney was as it was missing. Definitely not worth £9 odd

I've given 4 stars for an eatery of this type. By which I mean pub food, not home cooked pub food. These aren't Michelin stars. The food was good and hot and was very well presented. A bit of a wait for some of the main meals but this was explained as because they'd had starters.I'd go back as it's a lot better than it was a few years ago. Well done.

Visited for my niece's 9th birthday yesterday there was 10 of us 5 adults and 5 children. Ordered our food and we honestly couldn't believe how fast our food came to the table and with each dish being what we wanted and tasting has wanted I have to give 5* cause the service by the waiters and waitresses was great also. Thanks 👍

Food was great. The prices were reasonable. They had quite a good kids play area. And all the staff were polite and friendly.

This is a family focused Pub/Resturant with a fully equipped play area. However the focus on providing food was in this experience sadly lacking. My partner and I had 2 grand kids with us with entire day out slanted towards them. Arriving at the venue we selected a table but then moved onto the tables beside the play area. We ordered two carvery lunches for us a pizza and a spaghetti bolognaise for the kids. We paid for the food and holding our carvery vouchers awaited the kids meals arrival. A couple of slices of garlic bread arrived but then we waited an inordinate length of time for the main courses. The kids repeatedly came off the play area to ask us where there food was which then became distressing for them and us. We didn't want to eat whilst they had nothing not withstanding the notion of eating as a family. The food when it arrived was good along with carvery but the overall experience was lacking. Just a bit more focus on the kids please the adults can get to the carvery in their own time

Great visit back today after a couple of minor issues a few days ago, the team really did great today. The food was perfect and staff are and always have been fantastic. Thank you again and we will be back soon. 10/10

Not too crowded even in the children's play area. Food was well prepared even though the portions seemed a little on the small side. We would visit here again

Took a while to be greeted at the door. Food was lovely, fresh, hot and plentiful. The fish was huge. Took ages to remove plates, had to ask in the end. Would definitely recommend though.
