Good food, attentive table service. No liquor license so it's a "bring your own booze" effort, though they expect you to buy mixer from them (no chance). Seems quieter these days, come 9pm it was very quiet and we felt a little pressured to hurry and leave. They even switched the heating and music off. Good for large groups though and good locality to move on to other bars (if you're fond of the stalybridge circuit, which I'm not).

Nice food friendly staff good for large groups and take your own booze

First and only visit a week ago. Bit underwhelming I guess. Food was pretty decent but service was slow. Lots of guests complaining about how hot it was in the room. The bring your own beer thing makes it cheaper but I'd rather not have to. It wrecks the atmosphere seeing thousands of plastic bags of beer being brought in and people fumbling about for a beer and passing cans round. I just thought it was a bit weird but if you're into the BYOB thing then add an extra star as the food is decent if nothing else and the price is reasonable too.

December we booked a family meal for 25, it was horrendous. 3 hours later we all walked out having only eaten a few popadoms. Umeeds promised a complimentary meal for 4 people as way of apology for this disaster that ruined by dads birthday & brothers emigration meal.... I am STILL waiting for a call back from the manager to arrange this, despite calling several times & being promised a call back. The worst customer service ever!!!! Disappointed yet again.

We won't be coming here again. The staff have changed and don't seem to care about the service. The restaurant is also so cold. They have 2 tiny fan heaters on. 2 different dishes ordered but could have been the same. The chicken is already partly cooked and cooked again with a sauce added when you order so it's tough.

Lovely food, friendly staff. Modern feeling restaurant but very welcoming. It was a quiet night when we went but that may be because it was just before new year and we were there early

Terrible Avoid if you can.... we ordered two mains and some extras. The meals arrived late and were cold and the extra didnt even arrived. Called to be advised i was speaking to the manager - who then decided he wasn't the manager and someone else will have to all me! 'The manager 'is not is never in and will never call tomorrow. We never got any response and were fobbed off every time we called :( Still waiting for 'The manager' to call over two weeks later !!

Good food but absolutely awful service. The most rude staff I have ever seen. Brought us different drinks than ordered as apparently they are all the same. They kept staring at us- non stop- made us feel extremely uncomfortable, if their lack of manners wasn't enough. The heating was off in the middle of winter- we had to put jackets on to be able to finish our meal... Avoid at any cost

Great food, brilliant staff. They cater for people with allergies too, my little boy has a milk allergy and they make him a curry with no ghee in. All in all excellent. In fact my little boy wanted his birthday tea here so we came.

We had a lovely meal today at this restaurant. A real treat for my mother's 7 4th birthday. Cannot fault the staff or service. The only disappointment was that this is billed as a byo restaurant but when one of our party brought their own water as they were driving they were told we sell water you should buy it from us. It did not detract from the celebration but maybe they should make this a little clearer. The person concerned was the nominated driver.
