Verve Grill - Ashton Moss in Tameside

Had a lovely overnight here. My friend receives offers and there was a terrific deal that meant we had dinner bed and breakfast, plus able to use all facilities like jacuzzi, pool, sauna etc for a very reasonable rate. So we just went to get ourselves a night away from it all and have a nice meal and few drinks. We took full advantageof the jacuzzi, pool etc before going to the bar for our food. Rooms are clean and comfortable and well decorated. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of towels plus you're given extra to use at the pool etc so you don't use up your room towels or have to bring your own. The menu is varied and should cover something for everyone. Breakfast was hot breakfast buffet, toast, croissants, juice, tea, coffee etc. Standard fare really. Not out of the ordinary but perfectly adequate and plenty available. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and were willing to help with any questions or help we needed. There seemed to be some good business facilities and a hub but we didn't use these so I can't comment but they seemed good. All in all though a great time was had and everything seemed really nice, clean, welcoming, friendly, comfortable and pleasant

Starbucks has the best team its ever had. the girls are friendly and always ask me about my day. Mel & Tori know my drink and always have it ready, they are a real credit to your hotel. They're always cleaning and running about, people should give more credit to hospitality workers as its very hard work. see you next week girls. thank you

Sad to say this is the worst village stay my family have had.Automatic check in didn’t work so had to have assisted. Was publicly asked about my child’s disability as it was on the booking.The room to say we’re still in a pandemic leads me to question how clean the room actually is surface wise.My child’s disability means they put things in their mouth. My child is a toddler so this happens anyway. I’d have thought a family room would at least be safe for an average toddler. Within 10 mins my child has found a 1p coin and had it in her mouth and also found another child’s toy - so how deep was this cleaned?Breakfast was Absolutely Appalling. It’s the worst breakfast I’ve had anywhere ever. Pale, anaemic, tasteless, nobody spoke to us except to ask if we wanted eggs. We had to hunt a high chair down ourselves. Coffee didn’t even taste of anything.

Fantastic hotel, has everything you need. Room was great, no issues at all. Breakfast was fantastic, really enjoyed our 1 night stay.

5 starts for hotel, rooms, leisure center and bar. All excellent.Although 2 starts for breakfast. Really poor choices and not much of anything left when we got there at 10 even tho it didn't finish until 10.30.Defo recommend the hotel but skip the breakfast

Lovely room, clean, organised and yet still had the essentials, the hand soap, shower gel and shampoo smell DIVINE! 😍TV is modern, mounted on the wall, but not a smart TV (though there is a HDMI port on the back), free WiFi (sign up by opening your browser after selecting the network), our double bed was 2 single mattresses on a double base which was weird and somewhat annoying. No maid/turndown service but there's a sign to put on the door handle to indicate you want more towels, which are then left outside the door in a bag.The checking in system (electronic) was having s hissy fit when we arrived but was sorted quickly.Overall, perfect stay and will definitely be going again.

Decent price but small room and quite possibly THE most uncomfortable.pillows EVER! felt.lumpy and cheap. Badly need replacing in room 109. Staff are nice and polite.

Beautiful hotel, staff are really helpful and kind. Room was nice and clean. Check out what 11am. Check in was 3pm. Swim facilities were good, nice large spa pool. Has a sauna and steam room.

Not the best if you plan to stay for more than one or two nights. Room cleaning is at best erratic and sometimes non existent. On one trip, my bins were not emptied for 3 days, nor were my towels replaced. Dirty cups are left so expect to wash them yourself in the bathroom and don't expect the coffee or sugar to be replenished. Barely used towels have been removed from my room and not replaced. Some rooms are tired and worn. Overall the Premier Inn puts this hotel to shame. The management still have not responded to my email regarding the above.
