Very busy Sunday afternoon , packed out . Despite this, even as a party of 14 the waiting time for our food was very acceptable. Food was very good , staff friendly and polite. Only negative comment was the constant noise of the door slamming as children ran in and out of the play area outside.

I've been here loads for drinks and for the pub quiz in the old days but never ate here. Came for a meal with family recently and I was pleasantly surprised! All the food was tasty, seemed fresh, cooked nicely and arrived quickly. The prices are extremely good too. Me and the hubby ordered the steak fondue challenge to share and it was just enough food for the both of us and only £19! Everyone in our party was just as pleased with their meals too.Lovely and helpful staff too. One of our friends glass just exploded on it's own at the table! We think it was probably a case of the glass had just come out of the dishwasher and was hot, then cold liquid immediately went into it and stressed the glass. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, reseated us at another table straight away and offered free drinks for the trouble.Times are hard for everyone at the moment and with the cost of food, fuel, utilities and everything else soaring, I don't know how essential eating out is going to be to anyone in the future. But here is a place that isn't going to make you feel like restaurants are either no longer an option or that you would have to budget or sacrifice other things in order to enjoy an evening out. Our group are already planning a return visit.

Food was very enjoyed by all, the service from the staff was great even though they were busy they were jolly. The let down was having to wait at the bar if you didn't use their app, I thought one more member of staff on the till and would have given a 5.

Great pub , thought it was well managed from the day I first visited. Eileen and Allan do a great job and make their customers and staff feel welcome and part of a bigger familyDrinks are plentiful and food variety is top. Young lads in kitchen have great people skills when outside kitchen and stay professional when speaking to customersPuts Urmston on the map

Had the £5 steak deal with my wife, young lad sat me down and promised us the rumps were great value for money and an impressive cut of meat. He was completely right and been in the chef industry for 30 years an no complaints could be made about the steak or the serviceWill be back , will recommend

Had an 8oz rump steak meal here on the steak deal menu that they have on Mondays & Tuesdays, only £5 with a generous helping of chips & peas, bargain! Friendly atmosphere in the place & plenty of parking spaces. Will be visiting again soon

Fantastic. Went with a large group on 27/11/21. The staff were great, all of them. Attentive and really friendly. I had steak fondue and wings. Delicious, great pub food, done well and with great customer service too, extending too pointing out which sauce was the hottest checking we had enough condiments and ensuring the food was cooked to our liking. 12 people in our group, all food came out at the same time. 10/10

Fantastic deals on all food, and it was tasty and served quickly! The drinks were served quickly with a smile and the atmosphere was buzzing. Can’t fault it, will definitely be back! The staff are fantastic, especially Ayla with her friendly attitude and Lucy who served us the food.

Great pub, great staff and excellent food. Would recommend to anyone wanting good value for their money. Staff all smiley and happy to work. Much better than years ago, new management making huge difference.Will be here again

Tasty hot food, didn't have to wait long and everybody enjoyed all parts of the meal, we used the app to order and was very easy to do, requested a booth and the staff reserved one for us, thank you I know this may not always be possible at busy times, staff extremely friendly and helpful, clean restaurant, had a lovely time for my birthday.
