Bistrot Pierre in Trafford

I had the Chicken Pantanier, it was delicious. Unfortunately I had been looking forward to the French Onion Soup but was told it wasn't available, hopefully it will be on next time I visit. Not sure why the website shows a £22 fixed price menu as it wasn't given to us as an option. Will definitely eat here again.

We went as a big group of family that hasn't seen each other in years. It was a beautiful occasion. While the servers were kind, the service was very, very slow. They gave my steak to another member of the table (cooked how I wanted but covered in a butter I didn't want), so I switched it with my family member to avoid waiting further. It was okay at best, lacking flavor.

Much better than expected..... Food wise. Went at lunchtime and had the Prix Fixe menu... £16 if memory serves.Starters very good but took a while.Then had to wait 40 mins for next course.Yes. 40 minutes for 2 dishes.Prepared to give benefit of doubt and use again because food was good but another long wait like that would put me off for life.Recommend but be prepared to wait.

Just been there for a meal and left very disappointed. We walked in at 3:05 p.m., ordered food and had our starters and drinks delivered relatively quick. That was about it when it comes to the positive thing of this experience. Despite the restaurant not being full and by the looks of it, reasonably staffed, we waited for 50 minutes to get our mains. We have asked the waiter on progress and he said “the kitchen will try and do them asap but they are busy with other things”. We finally got our mains and asked for the bill as we were with a baby and rushing to get moving. A lady from the staff (she didn’t introduce herself) walked over with a printed receipt and quite rudely started explaining to us that we have not been waiting long at all, we were served with mains in 20 minutes since we ordered them and it’s unreasonable for us to even make a comment on slow service or request a discount/compliment from the house. We were absolutely appalled by this treatment, paid and left. Given that there was a table next to us which arrived after us and had their mains delivered before ours only comes to show the type of service you get. It goes without saying that this quite frankly ruined our experience and we ended up leaving half a bottle of wine on the table as there was no food to have with it. I do not recommend and personally will not be going back.

What a great place ! Definitely a cut above the rest with a high end menu but with a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was even better than described . Sam our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable when it came to wine and bless him he really took it in his stride when some of our group took about 15 minutes to order two soft drinks. I would definitely recommend a visit and also plan a few more myself.

Just called in for lunch with my daughter and we both ordered a starter and a main. After 5 or so minutes we were informed that my main was not available so a menu was left so that I could reorder. Waited 10 minutes for the waiter to come to take my order then finally gave up and went to find someone to take the order. 15 minutes later my daughter's main meal arrived with both of us having missed out completely on our starters. I waited to receive my main but it never arrived.Absolutely dreadful experience. We had had a coffee and a water which we were told would be deducted from our bill. We left having paid for a completely ridiculous experience. No lunch and charged for dreadful service. Very poor. Will not be returning!

Food is brilliant but, considering it wasn't busy we waited ages for our food, drink and taking our order. Nobody came and asked if our food was OK. Service staff need to get to grips. Only gave 4 star because the food is excellent, well done chef.

Lovely lunch here with my daughter. We had the lunchtime special offer menu. Food was lovely and great service from very welcoming staff too. We will definitely visit again when we are next in Altrincham.

Worst meal ever. I was served a completely raw fillet of salmon - twice!!! The restaurant was dark and I could easily have eaten it. Manager did not care at all, I think he thought it was funny. Ordered some tortellini instead which was equally undercooked. Slow service, drinks took ages to arrive and needed prompting. Just a terrible dining experience and I would warn others not to bother with this place. There are far nicer places in Altrincham, and this place needs to seriously improve.See other previous 1* reviews

High quality food, super delicious. Friendly staffs, good atmosphere too!👍🏻
